Okay, I get the hype now. 😂✨

Somehow this little sketchbook-style character page managed to capture me perfectly — the doodles, the coffee, the puppies, the planner brain, the Cajun soul, and the “every puppy deserves the very best” heart behind Neal Family Doodles. 🐾🤍

Honestly, I feel like an illustrator climbed into my brain and made me into a cozy little character. And the chibi version of me with doodles? I can’t. 😭😂

Look at these two gorgeous Landman babies!

The litter is now 16 weeks old and growing into such beautiful pups. First up is Tommy, aka Charley, followed by our solid girl, Cami! 🐾✨

Since the pups are almost 4 months old, you can generally double their current weight to estimate their approximate mature weight — give or take about 5 pounds.

Our handsome boy, Roman Phoenix, is almost 8 months old and officially stepping into his role as our very first stud! 🤍✨

He has passed all of his testing with flying colors and brings exactly what we’ve been working toward in our program.

Roman carries two strong furnishing genes, no curl genes, and a completely clear health panel. His technical traits include: ee, KbKb, awat, BB, Ssp, mm, FF, CT, CC — with clear genetic health results from Embark and Animal Genetics.

He is expected to mature right on the line between petite and medium, making him an incredible addition for producing consistent, beautiful, straight-coated offspring.

We are so proud to add this special boy to our program and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Roman Phoenix! 🐾

We are also so grateful to his wonderful guardian family, who are doing an amazing job raising him and loving him as their own. It truly takes a team, and we couldn’t do this without them. 🤍

What looks like “bad behavior” is often just an overtired puppy who needs a reset. 💤

That’s where the zen den comes in—a calm, safe space for a puppy to rest, recharge, and learn how to relax during the day.

I used a zen den with Emmy until Maya’s last litter—almost a full year. It isn’t mean… it’s what’s best. Puppies thrive when they have structure, security, and a designated place to unwind.

Rested puppies = better behavior. Every time.
