Here at North Bay Animal Hospital, we work with several amazing local animal rescues, one of which being Love from Luke.
They brought their wonderful staffy, Light, to us for cancer treatment, and he truly lived up to his name, Lighting up every room he was in.
This week, Light’s rescue family had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye, and he was surrounded by loved ones as he crossed the rainbow bridge.
Today, the founder of the rescue dropped off some gifts for the team at NB, who all worked with and loved Light. Our team here appreciate them and the work they do so much! They’ve helped so many animals, and Light’s light will continue to shine on through the work we do together to help all of our furry loved ones. 🌈🐶♥️✨

Throwback to yesterday with Dolly, the sweetest little ham!

This 2–3-year-old bully mix is currently being fostered by our tech Selia through Southern States Bully Rescue. We think Dolly may have been a mama in a past life—and now it’s her turn to be pampered. She’s a total people-person who soaked up every bit of love and attention she got yesterday.

Dolly’s good with other dogs and cats, but true to her stubborn bully roots, she’d love to be the center of attention. She’s working on her potty training, and while she can be a bit hard-headed, she’s making progress!

She’s looking for a forever home where she can be spoiled rotten.
