It's Tripawd Awareness Day!

“Triday” is the official International Tripawd Awareness Day to raise awareness about limb amputation for our beloved pets. Born with three legs and a spare, amputation is sometimes the best way to improve quality of life for dogs and cats affected by limb cancers, congenital challenges, neglect, or injury.

On March third (3/3) every year, we honor three-legged pets everywhere and the people who care for them.

Spaying pets decreases their likelihood of roaming ,lowers the risk of certain cancers and uterine infections, contributing to the overall well-being and prolonged happiness of your pets.

September is Pet Pain Awareness Month

A question that we are often asked is “how can I tell if my pet is in pain if they can not tell me?” Pets can be very stoic in how they communicate that they are in pain, so at times they may not show any signs. The most common responses to look for are depression, aggression, limping, resistance to petting or grooming, not eating, panting excessively, and much more. If you have concerns that your pet could be in pain, reach out to us at 813-885-2791.
