There are so many reasons the answer might be no to a person wanting to engage in physical contact. And an explanation isn’t always necessary.

Only the handler knows what’s right for them and their dog at that time.

Yuki sounds like our kind of pup! Checkout him + all of the other wonderful adoptable pups at Gwinnett Animal Shelter! 🐾🧡

CURRENTLY IN FOSTER - CALL FOR A MEET & GREET!

Yuki is 3 years old, weighs 62 pounds, and arrived on June 4 after being found in the Lawrenceville area wearing a red collar but no identification.

During his photoshoot, Yuki was friendly and curious, but he was also very focused on exploring everything around him. He's the kind of dog who likes to take in the world at his own pace, checking things out before deciding what's worth his attention.

As for dog and cat testing, we haven't dog tested, and the cats have formally requested to be left out of these discussions. For the most current information, give our kennel team a call. Meet-and-greets are required because finding the right match is important for everyone involved.
