The wait is over — last month’s t-shirt deliveries begin today! 🦴🚚

I’ll be personally delivering all 36 orders over the course of the week. Every package has been thoughtfully put together with a complimentary tote bag and a handwritten note as a small way to say thank you for your support. 💌

Running a small business takes a village, and I’m incredibly grateful for all of you who continue to support, share, and cheer us on. ❤️

✨ Fun Fact Friday! ✨

Did you know dogs aren’t being “stubborn” nearly as often as people think? 🤨

Many behaviors we label as stubbornness are actually caused by confusion, overstimulation, stress, lack of clarity, or the environment being too difficult for the dog in that moment.

Dogs don’t naturally generalize behaviors well, meaning a cue learned in the living room may feel completely different at a busy park or pet store.

That’s why consistency, patience, and practicing in different environments matter SO much during training! 🐕

Training is about building communication, confidence, and understanding between dog and owner — not about forcing a dog to obey.

When we adjust our expectations and set dogs up for success, learning becomes much more enjoyable for everyone involved! 🩷

📣 Transportation Service Update 🚙

Beginning June 1st, 2026, our transportation fee for boarding clients will be increasing to $50 for round trip pick up & drop off service.

This service includes:
🐾 Pick up + drop off
🐾 Travel within 1 hour of Talking Rock
🐾 Safe, convenient transportation for your dog

When we first introduced this service in 2021, the rate was set at $40 and has remained unchanged over the years. With the continued increase in fuel and travel costs, we’ve made the decision to adjust the price slightly in order to continue offering this convenience to our clients.

✨ Training clients will still receive complimentary pick up & drop off services at no additional charge.

We’re incredibly grateful for your support and understanding, and we look forward to continuing to care for your pups like family! 🩵

Yes! If your pup has played hard with their friends (most do) and gotten a bit too dusty for cuddles? Add a bath for only $35! 🧼

Boarding your pup for 3-4 weeks and they’re overdue for their grooming? Add on a brush out, de-matting, paw pad or sanitary trim for only $20! ✂️

Nail trims? $15! Ear cleaning, paw pad and/ or snout moisturizer? Only $10! 🫧

We are not groomers - we are trainers & boarders - but we believe in taking the utmost care of your beloved pets, and sometimes certain guests require more pampering. ✨

A time was had with our new splash pad this weekend!! 🤩💦

Every year we invest in something new to keep your pups cool during summer (last year it was a 5ft fire hydrant sprinkler)!

An additional kiddie pool is always a MUST too! We’re always open to suggestions, so don’t be shy & let us know what makes your pup’s tail wag! 💙🩵🤍

We have nothing “butt” thanks to give to our wonderful friends at Riverstone Animal Hospital! 🐶

We put together a small “thank you” basket for our vet—both our personal clinic for over a decade AND one we trust enough to recommend to our clients. The work they do every day isn’t easy. It comes with long hours, tough decisions, and a whole lot of heart.

We’re incredibly thankful for everything they do to care for our pets and yours. If you have a great vet, don’t forget to remind them how much they’re appreciated. A little appreciation goes a long way. 💛
