I am reaching out to our community for help. We have a great veterinary hospital that we are trying to keep open but things aren't going well.

We have MUCH lower prices than the average clinic..we are non profit and have a wonderful doctor on staff. Our biggest issue is that people just don't realize that we exist.

We have lots of openings for appointments and can typically get you in the same day you call. We are full service and also do all kinds of surgery. This is where your biggest savings come, yesterday we were able to save a sweet pitbull from a foreign body obstruction. The owners were quoted $4000 at a regular clinic and we were able to do it for $1200. Annuals with vaccines, depending on your pets lifestyle can average $150-$250. Bloodwork runs $175 when needed.

People who come to us love our service, are relieved at our prices and grateful that we are not pushy about getting every test under the sun before we help your pet.

We are down to a staff of 3 people (this includes our doctor) and cannot afford advertising to get our name out there.

All profits from our clinic, Pickens Animal Rescue Veterinary Hospital, support the care of the over 120 dogs and cats we have at our Rescue Ranch, also a wonderful place to go to find a new pet.

Please come visit with your pet and try us out, or if you are able, please donate. We have dreamed of creating a place where people can come and pay realistic prices to keep their pets instead of having to make the heartbreaking decision of euthanasia over money.
