Pickens Animal Rescue Ranch Pickens Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501c3 no kill animal rescue in Talking Rock, GA. We are proud to serve the communities of North GA!

Pickens Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of dogs and cats in North Georgia. PAR is comprised of 3 entities - the Rescue Ranch where we house and care for our homeless animals while they await their furever families, the Veterinary Hospital where we serve the animals of North Georgia 7 days a week, and the Thrift Store where donated items are sold to assist with the care of our homeless animals. We are proud to assist in the rehoming of close to 200 animals a year!

We have some gorgeous older kitties looking for their furever homes!
Meet Bobbie, Lucy, Ariel, Grasshopper, Diva, Becky Doodle, Muzby and our slightly younger Casper and Seymaura. All of these older cats have their own loving personalities, and are just waiting for you to come and meet them!
All senior cats are free to adopt. If an adoption for any reason doesn’t fit or work out, we will ALWAYS take our pets back in at the rescue.

Stacey just called this morning to let me know that sweet little Dollar crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈 By the intake records he was 12 years old and we thought he was adopted, but it turns out he was really sick with kidney failure. Stacey had taken him to her home to love and care for him but the poor guy passed this morning. RIP little Dollar.💔

Just received word that little Rudy recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge.💔 Rudy was 11 years and 7 months old and was adopted as a senior 2 years ago. His new dog mom gave him a good life with his happy ever after with lots of love. Run free over the Bridge sweet boy. RIP Rudy.🌈

Snickers had a very distinctive voice and when the weather was nice she would greet us and beg for chicken just like the other kitties. She seemed to go down hill when she had to stay inside during the cold weather. We will miss you dear girl.💔
