Pickens Animal Rescue Ranch Pickens Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501c3 no kill animal rescue in Talking Rock, GA. We are proud to serve the communities of North GA!

Pickens Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of dogs and cats in North Georgia. PAR is comprised of 3 entities - the Rescue Ranch where we house and care for our homeless animals while they await their furever families, the Veterinary Hospital where we serve the animals of North Georgia 7 days a week, and the Thrift Store where donated items are sold to assist with the care of our homeless animals. We are proud to assist in the rehoming of close to 200 animals a year!

Luna was a little naughty today. She rolled on a dead bird when they first got there. Petsense was really nice to give her a complimentary bath so now she's a real sweet smelling hound. Pretty girl!

Donations needed ‼️🙏🙏

🌧️🐾 Our pups may be having the time of their lives playing in the rain… but they are definitely turning into muddy little messes! 🐶💦

With all this wet weather, we’re going through pine shavings faster than ever trying to keep kennel areas dry and give everyone a cleaner, more comfortable place to walk and play.

If anyone would like to help, we could really use donations of pine shavings right now. Every bag helps keep muddy paws a little drier and our dogs a little more comfortable. ❤️

Time for a Pupdate about Kirby who was adopted last week. We have learned that this sweet boy dearly loves his new dog dad! He follows him around everywhere and loves going on their walks every day. Kirby has impressed everyone with his knowledge of basic commands like sit and stay. What a smart boy!
