🌟 Tuesday Tip from Your Fear Free Friends! 🌟

Did you know that your mood can influence your pet’s stress levels? 🐾

Pets are masters at reading our emotions—if you're anxious, they can feel it too. That’s why, before a vet visit, we recommend a little “calm-before-the-car” time. Try sitting with your pet for a few quiet minutes, speaking softly, and offering a favorite treat. 🍖💕

It’s a small step, but it can make a big difference in how your pet feels on the way to see us. And don’t worry—we’ll be waiting with gentle hands, tasty treats, and cozy blankets to help keep that calm going! 🧸✨

Have a question about how to make your pet's vet visits easier? Let us know below, text us, or send a message through the PetDesk app—we’re here to help! 💬📞

🎉 Happy Friday, friends! Ready for a fun fact to kick off the weekend? 🐾

Did you know dogs' noses are as unique as human fingerprints? 👃🐶 No two are alike—each has its own special pattern of ridges and creases!

At our clinic, we get to admire so many of these adorable, one-of-a-kind noses every day. 😍

Whether your pet’s nose is boopable, boop-shy, or somewhere in between, we’re here to make every visit comfortable and Fear Free.

Wishing you a weekend full of sniffs, snuggles, and smiles! 💛

Cats are experts at hiding illness, which makes regular checkups so important. Studies show a strong link between dental disease and kidney failure, with cats free of gum disease living healthier and longer lives.

In a recent article published in the Albuquerque Journal, the benefits of early detection and gentle handling are explored, highlighting how Fear Free Certified veterinarians make exams less stressful while helping identify health issues sooner.

Today is August 8th - sometimes called the Lion’s Gate Portal 🦁✨

The name comes from astronomy and astrology, but we’re here for the fun part: celebrating our cats’ link to the mighty lion.

Fun fact: your house cat shares about 95% of its DNA with large cats - like lions and tigers!

That’s why those adorable pounces, feather-toy chases, and “ankle hunts” feel so fierce.

In honor of the big cats, give your little one some extra playtime today: it’s healthy, fun, and the perfect way to bring out their wild side (no savannah required). 🐾

📸 Got a great mid-pounce photo? Share it with us!

Keeping track of your cat's daily routine is important. If you notice any changes in how much they eat, drink, sleep, or use the bathroom, it could be a sign that something's up. Even small changes matter! If you spot anything different, it’s a good idea to speak with your veterinarian before it turns into a bigger issue.
