We are posting regarding the abrupt shut down of the microchip company Save This Life.
If your pet was microchipped using this company it is advised that you re-register through
https://www.24petwatch.com/ Also, the Buddy ID tag which we have available at the clinic is a little tag worn around
their collar, no bigger than a rabies tag, it includes a QR code that someone could actually scan with their
phone and it enables them to contact the registered owner immediately. The tag is automatically included when your pet
is microchipped here. Otherwise it is available for purchase if your pet is already microchipped for $13.98 and does
work universally.

Gloves and W***y would love to add a little extra joy to your Holidays this year! These little guys came to us at 2 weeks old and had been in foster care while they were growing. They are now ready for their forever homes, will it be with you?
They are 11 weeks old, neutered and had their first set of vaccines and are very playful, cuddly and bundles of fun! They have been in a home with dogs and cats and got along well with them.
If you are interested in adopting one or both they are $100 each. Give us a call to set up a time to meet them!

It was ten years ago today that our clinic cat Marge was found in a bus engine, most likely seeking out warmth. Maybe the worst decision ever made, but ending with the best outcome as she is so loved and cherished by her Community Vet family. A qoute from Dr. Nicki "If love is a life sustaining thing, Marge's multiplied when CV opened". Marge is very lucky with the village she has that loves her.♥️" The most accurate statement ever made. This time of year in particular animals are looking for warmth, please be sure to check as best as you can for any that might be hiding in your engine. Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and hoping you have endless reasons to be thankful and grateful.

Kitten update…
Birch has found his home!
Acorn, Twiggy, and Oak are still waiting.
Come by and see them next week! The longer we have them, the more their personalities start to show. See the new pictures below. Whenever possible we set them up in the big cage to stretch and get some of their kitten energy out (they’re entertaining 🤭), but they really need a home to run, play, and rest in. 😺😺😺

😻 KITTENS FOR ADOPTION!!! 😻
Up to date on vaccinations and deworming, FELV/FIV/HW negative.
Birch - Neutered male, grey, DSH, 4 months old
Acorn - Neutered male, dilute orange tabby, DSH, 4 months old
Oak - Neutered male, orange and white, DSH, 4 months old
Twiggy - Spayed female, dilute calico, DSH, 4 months old

Acorn and Oak are double without the trouble! They are affectionate, love snuggling, and playing with each other.
Acorn is by far the most social with a super loud purrrr motor!
Birch (grey kitten)< is Adopted!! and Oak are slightly timid but very sweet and playful. If you want a relaxed companion; someone to kick back and cuddle with after a hard day's work, they are the cats for you!
Twiggy is very food motivated, loves chin scratches and playing with toys. She may be more of an independent cat but she enjoys being doted on with pats and may come up for the occasional snuggle.
All have been socialized around children and would make wonderful companions. Come visit them today! $100 adoption, proceeds go to Brook Park Animal Control.
