We are excited to announce that Hannah with Piece By Piece Images will be at our trial coming up in October 3 - 5th. She will be taking photos on Saturday, possibly Sunday. Support our local dog photographers and get some memories of your dogs doing what they love!

Our next Barn Hunt trial is October 3–5, and registration is now open! We’re excited to welcome Judge Marybeth Alexander, who themes her courses to match each trial day. This one will be Halloween-themed to celebrate Krueger's 13th birthday! Each trial will have a sub-theme: Freddy Krueger's legacy, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Haunted Mansion!!
Some ribbons will feature exclusive Halloween designs! We’re planning even more fun things for this trial, plus the weather should be perfect Colorado fall days. We hope to see you at our first annual Krueger Birthday Bash! https://www.secreterrier.com/events/1463/enter

*** UPDATE*** we might change this class to Tuesday evenings, if anyone is interested in that time slot let me know before I officially move it.
BARN HUNT CLASS for senior / master level dogs
When: Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:15 pm
Dates: September 3, 10, 24 and October 1
Total class time: 6 hours
Limit: 4 dogs
Cost: $231 including fees per working dog spot (no non working dogs allowed)
Week 1: 2 hrs 15 min (First hour is a Q&A discussion without dogs)
Weeks 2–4: 1 hr 15 min each
Time will be adjusted if class does not fill
Class must be atleast 75% full to stay scheduled
This class is designed for those at the Senior and Master level, or leveling up. We will work on larger tunnels, finding all the rats within the time limit, working with residual odor, beginning to learn a dogs clear, proofing a solid indication, and distance challenges. The final class will be a mock trial setting.

With Labor Day weekend coming up, we’re happy to announce that our pool will not be shutting down come Monday! It will stay open as long as the weather cooperates and it remains safe for the dogs. We’re hoping it can stay up till the end of October, but it’s Colorado so who knows what weather we’re really going to have this fall.
We will announce as we feel we are nearing the end of the season, giving you atleast a one week notice. Do keep in mind any packages purchased for the 2025 season will expire when the pool closes and do not roll over into the 2026 season.
We will do our best to update this post regularly once the temperature of the pool consistently stays below 72 so that you guys can be aware of what the water temperature is that day.
We finally got our rental items hung up outside, better late than never! They are located by the exit steps. Please be respectful and ONLY use these items if you selected to rent these during your time on the dock. Please also put them back where and how you found them. When renting toys you can use however many your dog needs, just keep in mind to not allow them destroy them for fun!

UPCOMING BARN HUNT TRIALS!
With Rocky Mountain Ratters trials being completely full at Greeley Kennel Club show this weekend, that means the next barn hunt is Septemeber 4-7 in Castle Rock with Rebel Ratters and they still have room all 4 days! Then it’s back to Rocky Mountain Ratters September 11-14 then it’s OUR haunted Halloween trial October 3-5!! 👻 Can you tell we love barn hunt in this area, go support your local clubs!!! Registration to all of these shows is open!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to our Barn Hunt this weekend! Whether you only competed in Barn Hunt or participated in any of the other events happening on-site, we hope you and your dogs had a blast!
This was our first multi-sport event, and we truly enjoyed seeing everyone enjoying their dogs. We’d love to hear your feedback, good or bad, so we can keep making each event better.
