Just a few short weeks ago, Shish*to was battling for her life. Today, thanks to life-saving FIP treatment and your generosity, she’s almost unrecognizable — playful, bright-eyed, and full of purrs. One of our volunteers said it best: “If I didn’t know she was sick, I wouldn’t know she was sick.”
But Shish*to’s journey isn’t over yet. She still has two more months of treatment ahead, and the medicine that’s saving her life must be given for the full 84 days to make sure the disease is completely gone. We are so grateful this treatment now exists — just a few years ago, FIP was a death sentence — but it’s costly, and we still have a long way to go to meet our goal.
