🚨 Urgent Help Needed for Mr. Smoke 🚨

Many of you may remember Mr. Smoke (“Buddy”)—a sweet, resilient boy we rescued back in January 2025. Thanks to life-saving surgery funded by Show Your Soft Side, he overcame severe respiratory issues caused by large polyps. He’s been patiently waiting in foster ever since, showing nothing but love and gentleness every single day. ❤️

Unfortunately, Mr. Smoke needs our help again. He now has a polyp in his right ear that requires surgical removal. Without it, he’s at risk for ongoing pain, infection, and worsening health.

Dr. McMichael at Timonium Animal Hospital fit him in tonight for surgery! 🙌

FRA is committed to giving him the care he deserves—but we can’t do it without you.

💔 We urgently need donations to help cover the cost of his surgery. Every dollar truly makes a difference—whether it’s $5, $20, or more, it all adds up to getting Mr. Smoke healthy, comfortable, and one step closer to his forever home.

9 catches in just a few hours 🎣

Spring time is here and we are snatching as many as we can as kitten season starts!

Most of these cats are going to be Trap-Neuter-Release, and some are going to shelters and fosters! All of them will never have to deal with all the issues of being unfixed brings, plus will be vaccinated for rabies.

🚨 We Need Your Help NOW! 🚨

Our Park Heights cat colonies are in trouble. Many of our regular feeders are currently out of commission, and our feeding calendar is stretched to the breaking point. Some of our volunteers are working overtime to keep the cats fed, but we simply can’t keep up.

💡 Why We Need You:
We care for 13 colonies that need feeding 4 days a week (Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun). Each route takes about 60–90 minutes – but right now, we don’t have enough people to cover.

✨ What We Provide:
•🛒 Food & supplies – no cost to you
•📚 Simple training to guide you through the route

✨ What You Need:
•🚗 A reliable car (the route covers too much ground to walk)
•📱 A cell phone (to check in and snap quick pics)
•💁 Bring a friend or family member – feeding is always more fun with a buddy!

We’re only asking for one shift a month. Just 60–90 minutes of your time can mean full bellies and safe nights for these cats. 🐾
