At Valley Dog and Cat Hospital we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their humans in Owings Mills, Pikesville, Reisterstown, and surrounding areas. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients and we want everyone, both two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our hospital. We opened in May of 2015. W

e offer a wide range of medical services and surgeries for dogs and cats in Owings Mills, MD. HOLIDAY REMINDERS!

Happy Thanksgiving week!! Here are our Holiday week reminders!

We will be CLOSED Thursday 11-27 for Thanksgiving and OPEN normal hours Monday, Tues, Weds, and Fri this week. We will be CLOSED this Saturday 11-29.

💊With the upcoming holiday, we are filling more prescriptions than normal. Please make sure to check your pets medications, and call for any needed refills BEFORE Wednesday 11-26 to ensure they are filled and ready before Thanksgiving.

Compounded medication refills MUST be placed by TODAY 11-24 to guarantee delivery by Wednesday 11-26.

✈️If your pet is boarding or flying, make sure to check your facility's vaccine requirements and confirm that your pet's vaccines are up-to-date.

If you have any new concerns, need bloodwork for medications, or need vaccines, please call us today(11/24) at 410-363-9500 as our schedule is filling up very quickly for the week!

We are happy to announce that we are once again partnering with the Baltimore Humane Society for their yearly Wags N Whiskers donation drive!

Donations can be brought to the clinic during our normal business hours(Mon&Thurs 8am-7pm, and Tues/Weds/Fri 8am-6pm) look for the large decorated box at our front desk!

While we have a special donation box during the holiday season, we would also like to remind everyone that we DO accept donations year-round, and we invite our clients and the community to feel free and drop-off donation items any time!

The Baltimore Humane Society is a community staple in our little world of pets- hosting community events like Dogfest, providing low-cost vaccine and spay/neuter services, and running a TNR clinic to help lower the local outdoor cat population. A large portion of our patients(including a few staff pets!) are BHS alumni, and being able to help give back to this wonderful organization is a point of pride for our clinic!

A lovely young man came in today letting us know he needs to rehome his furry furriend. While he isn't one of our patients, here is what we know about him!

His name is Cool Guy(how can you not love that!?)

He's up to date on his vaccines(no immediate visits required)

He loves to cuddle, and has lived with other animals before.

Important Update: Flood Damage Impact

The flood damage to our facility is more extensive than we initially realized. As we work through repairs, our team will be in and out of the office. We will continue to answer phones and refill prescriptions as best we can during this time.

We are hopeful to begin seeing a limited number of appointments by the end of this week or early next week. We will keep you updated with any changes.
