🔥 Hot Hose Water Warning 🔥
In the summer heat, the water sitting inside your garden hose can become scalding hot — hot enough to cause serious burns to your skin or your pet’s.

Before you use the hose to fill a bowl, rinse off a patio, or give your pet a cool-down spray, let it run for at least a full minute to flush out the hot water.

We’ve seen pets suffer burns from this — and it’s heartbreaking because it’s so preventable.

🚨 Pets & Hot Cars: It Can Be Deadly in Minutes 🚨

Every summer, we see heartbreaking stories that could have been prevented. Leaving a pet in a parked car — even for a "quick minute" — can turn deadly fast. On an 80° day, the inside of a car can hit 99° in just 10 minutes. Cracking the windows does nothing to make it safe.

🐾 If you see a pet locked in a hot car:
👉 First, try to locate the owner.
👉 Then, call your local police OR the Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force at 314-647-4400.

We wish more people understood just how serious this is. Please help us spread the word — a life could depend on it.
