Some take Halloween very seriously.

Others are just here for the treats.

Happy Halloween from The Barker Shoppe!

You know daycare was good when they’re asleep before you make it home.

A full day of playing with friends tends to do the trick.

There’s a lot that happens between drop-off and the finished photo.

Bathing. Drying. Brushing. Coat care. Nail trims. Trimming and plenty of patience along the way.

A good groom isn’t just about making your dog look cute. It’s about taking care of their coat, skin and comfort too.

Daycare doesn’t have to be just an occasional treat.

For social dogs, having regular opportunities to play, interact and burn some energy can become one of the best parts of their routine.

And judging by how fast some of them run through the door, they know exactly where they are.

October might feel early to start thinking about holiday travel.

Your dog’s boarding reservation says otherwise.

Thanksgiving and the holiday season will be here before we know it, and boarding dates can fill quickly. If you already know you’ll be traveling, now is a good time to get your pup’s stay on the calendar.

Cooler weather means more time outside.

It can also mean muddy paws, leaves in the fur and all kinds of things getting tracked back into the house.

When your dog starts bringing half the backyard inside, we can help with the cleanup.

Baths, brushing, trims and full grooming appointments are available at The Barker Shoppe.

A good daycare day usually ends the same way.

Play hard. Make some friends. Get plenty of energy out. Then sleep approximately the entire ride home.

That’s a successful day at The Barker Shoppe.

Fall is a good time for a grooming reset.

After a summer of swimming, shedding, dirt and outdoor adventures, a bath, brush-out and trim can help get their coat back in shape for the cooler months ahead.

The Barker Shoppe offers grooming throughout the week, including Saturdays, so there’s a little more flexibility for busy schedules.

Call to get your pup on the books.

Scouts are saying this one has potential.

Fast on the break, keeps their eye on the ball and always brings it home. 🎾

We're expecting a big season.

No one said looking this good was easy.

Currently: sudsy, slightly suspicious and reconsidering every decision that led to bath time.

Soon: fresh, fluffy and ready to show off.
