Sunshine St., Suite E, Springfield MO 65804 Watching Over Whiskers (WOW) was established in 2015 with our fund at the Community Foundation of the Ozarks where cat loving individuals can make tax deductible donations to assist WOW in saving the lives of area Felines in need. The fund supports routine vetting to help place kitties in

loving homes, as well as TNR assistance and emergency vet assistance for kitties on a case by case basis.

Baby MOZART is feeling a bit better tonight... Still not very active but eating a little more on his own and more rested and much better breathing.

You can also tell Marci is still extremely tired, but that's just part of rescue. When they need us, they need us, no matter the time of day or what else is going on.

We are so thankful our Saturday PM volunteers noticed how labored his breathing was to ask for assessment and help. It was a scary night, but hopefully he's going to be on the mend over the next 86 days and be ready for a forever home with his best fur friend, WHISKEY, in the blink of an eye. FIP is treatable so let's get this baby boy his meds ordered, and him all well! 🐈‍⬛💜🐈‍⬛

OPIE & ODIN are a bonded sibling duo who are rambunctious and playful and BUSY!!

These boys came to WOW with another itty bitty sibling and they were all incredibly sick. We lost the tiniest brother after a few days... OPIE & ODIN are now healthy, happy and would LOVE a home with kiddos who want to play and wear them out.

As always, WOW felines are tested, fully vetted to age and have a lifestime microchip, as well as anythign else needed to ge them healthy and ready for a FOREVER home.

These two senior ladies are looking for a quiet adult home with no tiny humans or other pets.

GUINEVERE is a little roly poly love bug.

BIANCA is very shy and reserved and will take time to open up. She's also a little tripod cutie pie.

They are used to a home and are very, very sad and lost without a home. 😿😿😿

Do she look tired or does Marci look tired?
She was working on WOW projects until 2 AM, including coordinating the drop off at EVC of sweet MOZART as well as securing $$ to put down at the ER vet to even be seen.

Up today at 6 AM to be at WOW HQ to do meds, feed, scoop and clean.

We are so very thankful he's back with his WOW family tonight but MOZART has a long 86 days of treatment to go followed by observation.

Thank you for all of the good juju and $$ to help save his life, literally.

VALENTINA & 2 Baby Girls

Meet this precious mom and her 2 sweet girls - SERAPHINA (Snowshoe) and SYLVIE (tabby point Siamese) are the sweetest little girls. Playful. Fun Loving. Cuddly.

Mom has had a rough go with her original family.
She came in with an old leg injury plus a new, BAD leg injury that luckily we were able to save. She also had an open wound that needed repair where her babies nurse, from being hit a car. Unable to afford medical care they came to WOW to heal, get well and find amazing families to treasure them.

It will be a few weeks before the sister's are fully vetted and ready to adopt together.

They could use $$ for their extraordinary care.

These two cutie pies are absolute dolls. They are very laid back, loving boys who crave attention and each other. They soon will be looking for a FOREVER home to share so many snuggles and giggles for the next 20 years.

We aren't sure they will be fond of tiny humans or doggies and they won't be ready for another month or so.

As always, WOW felines are tested for FeLV, fully vetted to age, fixed and have a lifetime microchip.

Meet ZARA She is 1ish years old and as sweet as they come. This baby girl came in with a horrible UTI and crystals and remains on CD food for her overall health and wellness.

ZARA will love a calm home, perhaps as the only feline, where she can be showered with love and affection.
