🚨 Important Update Regarding Petfinder 🚨

We want to make our community aware of an ongoing issue we are experiencing with the Petfinder website. All of our available cats and dogs are normally posted there, but we’ve recently noticed some major errors that are out of our control.

Over half of our pets are currently showing as not fixed, not vaccinated, or not house-trained, which is not accurate. Most of our animals are fixed and vaccinated, and house-trained. Additionally, several photos are either missing or displaying incorrectly.

This issue is also affecting our website, where no animals are showing under “available pets.” We know how frustrating this is—especially since the majority of our adoptions happen through Petfinder.

We are hopeful this issue will be resolved soon. In the meantime, we are working hard to make sure all of our available pets are listed on AdoptAPet.com so they can still be seen and adopted.

Meet Moby!

This handsome, all-grey gentleman is about a year and a half old and full of quiet charm. Moby can be a little shy when you first approach—he may take a step back and observe you from a safe distance. But the moment you reach out and start petting him, he melts right into it and decides you’re his new best friend.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Our dryer has officially tapped out. 💀

It has dried its last towel, folded its last hope, and is now enjoying early retirement.

If anyone has a reliable used (or new) dryer looking for a new job, the pups at People for Pets would love to interview it! 🐾🙃

Meet Caesar — our big ol’ handsome boy with a heart just as large as his 135-pound frame!

At first glance, Caesar can look a little intimidating, and he definitely takes his time deciding who earns his trust. But once you’re in his circle, wow… this boy becomes the sweetest, most loyal cuddle buddy you could ask for. He melts for pets, especially those butt scratches that make his whole body wiggle with happiness.

Caesar is also a total fetch fanatic. Tennis balls are his absolute pride and joy — inside, outside, in his kennel, on a walk… he wants one with him at all times. He sits beautifully, listens well, and for such a big guy, he’s incredibly gentle.

Because he prefers calm and predictability, Caesar would thrive in a quieter home with less commotion. He’s good with other dogs, unsure about cats, and while he previously lived with young kids, we think he’d be most comfortable with older children who can respect his space.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a sweet soul and a love for tennis balls, Caesar may just be the gentle giant you’ve been waiting for. 🧡🐾
