🐠 Goldfish Gets Surgery — With Help From Packing Peanuts! 🩺✨

Yes — fish can have surgery too!

What’s a swim bladder?
It’s a gas-filled organ that helps fish stay buoyant — allowing them to float, sink, and swim upright. When it malfunctions, fish may swim sideways, sink, or even float upside down.

🐟 This goldfish was struggling to swim and kept flipping upside down due to swim bladder disorder. After a delicate surgery by Dr. Ford, we got creative with the recovery — using packing peanuts as tiny floatation aids to help the fish regain balance and swim properly again!

💙 Now it’s swimming straight and healing well!

🦝🍼 Feeding Time for the Baby Raccoons! 💚
Our clinic has had the joy of caring for some very hungry little visitors lately—orphaned baby raccoons! These curious, babies require round-the-clock feeding with special milk replacer to help them grow strong and healthy.

Feeding them is both a science and an art—everything from formula temperature to positioning matters to keep them safe and thriving. It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth every tiny squeak and wiggly tail. 💕

We’ve officially started renovations at the clinic to enhance our medical services and improve your overall experience! From better client spaces to updated equipment, we’re building a brighter, more comfortable future for you and your pets. 💚

That said, renovations come with some extra noise and activity, which we know can be stressful for our more sensitive patients. If you think the added commotion might affect your pet's visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we can provide a safe anti-anxiety medication to give before their appointment to help them stay calm and comfortable. 🐶🐱
