AS usual, the week to New England started off with stall bedding I didn’t have my Main Man DeShaun but I did have my Maine man Tyler there to help me thank goodness for Tyler, who showed up one night to do some heavy lifting and bail me out lol
The first night of the show was a very special and heartwarming tribute and dedication to my uncle Bill Parker with his family and center ring. The horse show dedicated the week to him. There’s no way you could ask for better weather the show rolled on as usual bigger and better than ever. Life is always entertaining when Shane Shiflet is in center ring he was in an especially good mood because throughout the week I displayed all three of his hats. And we still can’t decide which one we like better. Hey Casey is in town welcome back big time. The Sterling hospitality tent, was up and running with different games and a little education, trying to learn the alphabet.Lol actually signing the alphabet, which I am comfortably up to J so far. There was another educational game that was being played bougie or not bougie. No week would be complete without a trip or two or 3 to latitudes also known as the devils den ok Dewey and I’ll stop for one eeek. Dewey is a terrible friend at times with his accomplice Kristen Cater. lol morning came fast. Happy to say I pretty much survived without a scratch. Now the bull riding was an event unparalleled The judging panel was probably the greatest judging panel ever assembled Scott Shepard, Shane, Shifflet, Pam Turner, and oh yeah me. Not sure but I do believe there was some home cooking involved. That’s kind of how we do.Lol. The nation was in the house but they had some serious competition from the Chippendale boys (The Minor Boys) I couldn’t swear to it, but I believe cash and drinks were passed around to the judges. Pams and her private dances from the Chippendales earned them tens with stars from her. Great event raised money for a great charity.
The week was capped off by a visit by Odessa. If you don’t know, you better ask somebody. Ask Shane lol. Omg tick Tacs yum sooo good. Somethings never die three years later we’re still banging on me about my fancy parking job. At least now I have a personal parking space.
