One of the best weeks of the year didn’t disappoint. Everyone else may have had a hiccup or two but I did not cause my tv had the gunsmoke channel WINNING!
Lunch at Mullins favorite place because it had the best queso lol yes. It was amazing. Burger week didn’t disappoint Harry’s won out for me. I actually had some company for lunch. Mark Farrar and Stacey Wright talk about a fun lunch. We had a blast, especially when the server was trying to explain to Stacey her steak was not the best one. The best steak is the other one and Stacey telling him I’m sticking with this one lol. On the ride home from lunch, we called Shane Shiflet to see how he was holding up and if we did a good job celebrating Odessa’s birthday of course I had to be a wise guy and say something smart to which Shane replied I can’t believe Parker ‘s with you guys. How do you get him away from Shatzberg? Ugh. AnyWho, that wasn’t the only birthday surprise. A certain young man will just use the name Jason to protect his identity (from Tennessee and a very good friend of Mark’s ) was part of a huge surprise birthday wish for their good friend Mark by supplying RH with some very entertaining pictures for RH to make a video and play on the Jumbotron.
Back at the show, the question of the day was always is it going to rain? No, it’s going to miss us. Why is RH covering up his speakers with plastic bags? Oops because here comes the rain. Bring in the carriage class oh my it’s raining really hard now three entries in the ring. One entry Dry. well played Missdee. She pulled up the top on her convertible and just smiled at the other two participants. Lol. Karen Homer to the rescue lol hey Karen is coming with me could be heard a lot when a carriage class would come in the ring that’s a smart, judging panel.
Wow, three party size bags of bugles who the devil is gonna get all that centering is who there were no bugles left by the end of the week lol. Hey Kristen, where is the nation’s stalls were way back up on the hill I’m already there. She says look further back. Oh there they are. I found my people lol. Anywho great week with great people hold on did I hear somebody say correctly be back at the show by 620 so we can take a picture apparently no one has met me before but I did make the 6:20 picture barely. Airport lockdown I was there and didn’t know.

Shenandoah 2025

Second show out of three in a row. This show never disappoints there is always great horses and a good time to follow this year was no exception. Got to work with the Nations own Kristen who informed me she needed a ride to the show lunch and dinner lol even though she had her own car. The best part was when she got the wrong car lol.
Center ring was lively as ever. Applebees was the spot as usual with Dewey holding court with T - toes. No sign of mice lol but lively conversation. Jerome you can’t park like that WHAT !?! Well guess what apparently Dewey can’t park either. Next year Doug will be DJ for the week he was not impressed with some of the music selections and by the way, our Elton John themed guest five songs. I think Amy was trying to throw us some curveballs. I know Benny and the Jets and crocodile rock and I think you were toying with us. Anywho on to the ‘cuse

GREATER BOSTON 2025

We made our return to North Hampton to some really great weather except for one night Bert Earhart and Chris Branan got treated to the crazy North Hampton sky complete with crazy clouds and lightning. As most of you know us new englanders are a hearty group. Rain couldn’t dampin our spirits or move us inside. We rode out the storm with no problems. Our man Steve introduced sweet Lucy to Chris and Bert instant fans. Lol. Great horse Show Horses were on point and the judges did a great job. Got my official Windy River boys hat great hat, great cause make sure you track down Sarah Gove or Amanda DuPont to purchase your hat. Anywho we had a blast.

Great show with some highlights. The good Times started before the show even got going when I was minding my own business at planet fitness and got invited to dinner with the Nation. All was going well until David mentioned a funny story, of course, untrue, and about me that he got secondhand from another good friend of ours. now in defense of myself, I shouted out a statement that came across extremely inappropriate which inturn sent David’s food out of his mouth and almost all the way across the table.lol. Anywho that started the week off on the right foot. This year we had a new addition to center ring Mr. Travis Olinger, who is always a great time decided to come and experience a good old-fashioned New England horse show. Also joined in centering was Miss Lori Nelson the multi talented, beautiful extraordinary Lori. Hey Parker, who is gonna win the trainers equitation are you serious? Shame the nations got this. Kristen would not put that suit on if she wasn’t in there to win.Lol
Sweet Lucy made an appearance even though I sent out a warning to go easy because Lucy‘s one tough customer some of the centering boys decided to try to their hand with her and then latitudes. Lucy won, and the boys were looking for the cars in the morning lol. Hey jerome is that white powder on your coat from a doughnut? No Amy it’s not.Lol. Shane, do you need a ride home? Yes, I do. Don’t worry about it Shep. Shane will fit in my clown car and shane my car is actually clean this week well kinda anywho Shane fit. Lol. sweet tooth lori had some amazing candy. To cap off a great show Shane, Travis and myself went to Uno‘s and I ordered the best pizza ever. It was so good. Shane forced his self to have a slice along with Travis. Great week can’t wait for next year

What can you say about Perry GA ? You have to go through the Atlanta airport to get there and that’s an experience all its own. Why the devil ever went down to Georgia is beyond me. I bet he didn’t fly lol. AnyWho made it through the experience without too many mishaps got upgraded to a urban assault vehicle and headed to Perry to take on the pro aM with partners in crime Travis, Olinger, Doug Shiflet and Chad Cole hopefully I don’t screw up too many of Doug‘s pictures because I’m yapping to the people on the rail. Oops sorry Doug. I still got invited to lunch, which was an experience all its own. We went to a really nice Italian restaurant and all I could manage was a salad go figure but in my defense, the salad was amazing. Oh my God ! what ! Yes, jerome we start at 9:30 not 10 o’clock F& ! Got Ready jumped into my urban assault vehicle and who knew that thing could go from 0 to 110 in the blink of an eye now stopping a vehicle going that fast is a trip within itself almost had to Dukes of Hazzard my turn into the fairgrounds luckily everything turned out just fine Everyone standing in center ring was staring when I walked in not sure what they were staring at. it was 929 and according to my watch, I was a minute early seems normal for me.Lol. Dewey bass is a big time hero thanks for casual. Saturday. We got to wear polos for the day session. Great idea everyone should adopt that I insist. Apparently Harris stables had a birthday girl that didn’t know it was her birthday or that there was cotton candy and cake sitting on her table all night not gonna lie. That cake was amazing. Not sure about the gross cotton candy but the cake amazing.

I had to take on Pin Oak without my co pilot Miss Scarlett this year but judge Lampropolus filled in nicely. Even though he was a bit of a diva. Starbucks ? 😩 I only drink Dunkin’ doughnuts coffee. Ok I’ll drive Mr. Daisy to dunkies. To his credit he did not give to temptation or Peer pressure from Courtney who wanted a picture of him eating a jelly roll? 🤷‍♀️ he didn’t eat one on my watch. Finally we’re at the condos? Church ? Spanish learning center? Oh there’s the show lol. Hi Beth. what ? You need my help filling out you March madness bracket ? I have no clue so I’ll be perfect. NO John UConn is not going the finals ok put it down Beth 😩 anywho I’m happy to report at the end of the show we were Winning! Against the college basketball expert K. Moller an Miss Lori who filled out one also. I lost track of the standings all I know is we are the pin oak champions lol. Absolutely great week of horse showing and story telling. But I will say STEAK EVERYNIGHT ! with my favorite boss paying more than his fair share. Why does he keep asking me before he pays. “Do you wanna buy a horse ?” 🤷‍♀️ 😂
