Located in Charlotte, Vermont, Metro Stables provides a cohesive approach to horse and rider training. With a variety of riding and show opportunities, Metro Stables focuses on the key aspects in becoming a competitive horseman.

That officially wraps up the Diane Carney clinic at Metro Stables! Riders in the first two groups today schooled trotting in and cantering out of lines, focusing on maintaining impulsion to the base of the jumps. Riders rode through courses that asked numerous questions, including a 2-2-2 grid, and incorporating straight halts throughout the course!

Thank you to all who came to ride and learn, and most of all thank you to Diane for coming out and sharing her wealth of knowledge!

Day 1 of the Diane Carney clinic here at Metro Stables is underway and we are having a blast! Riders in today’s first group schooled transitions and the use of diagonal aids on the flat. Riders then built up a course piece by piece, working on transitions, and maintaining straightness through halts.

 Metro Stables is so grateful to have Olivia as part of the team. Her dedication, positivity, and genuine care for both horses and riders shine through in everything she does. The barn is a better place because of her hard work, kindness, and passion for the sport!

Metro Stables had another stand out weekend at Old Salem Farm! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the winter show season has in store!

🌟 Kate Cianfaglione and Polaris had beautiful rounds in the THIS and Dover Adult Medals

🌟 Sophia Isner and Loafers Lodge Frosting put in great rides in the Low Children’s Pony Hunters

🌟Elle Cambi and Blue on Blue were also shining in the Low Children’s Pony Hunters

🌟 Jennifer Bryant and Fox Creek’s Dark Knight had successful rounds in the Low Adult Hunters

🌟 Gemma Eggleston and Loeki Van Het Lindehof were stellar in the jumpers and they made their debut in the 1.20 m!

✨ Client Spotlight: Parker ✨ We’re kicking off our new Client Spotlight Series with one of the amazing riders who makes Metro Stables what it is!

“I’m Parker! I just aged out of the juniors this year and will be starting doing the adult equitation and amateur owner’s this upcoming season! I have had my horse Letto for five years now and have developed a strong partnership in both the equitation and hunters.
I’m excited to start in the adult divisions this season and get to enjoy time with my horse and barn family.
My favorite part of Metro is getting to be part of such an incredible group of very strong women. Our whole barn is owned and operated by women that have shaped so much of who I have grown into in my five years of being with Johanna and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a member of the team!”

🌟 Delicious Z ridden by Johanna Hyppa and owned by Ally Cox rode to Champion in the Low 2’6” Hunters

🌟 Tessa Hughson and Girl of Wildwood took 1st an Open Jumper .90 class

🌟 Gemma Eggleston and Loeki Van Het Lindehof won two 1.10 classes

🌟 Loafer’s Lodge Frosting and Sophia Isner had a great first show in the Children’s Pony Hunters

🌟 Jennifer Bryant and Fox Creek’s Dark Knight were Champion in the Low Child/Adult Hunters

🌟 Kate Lambright and Theodore earned Reserve Champion in the Low Child/Adult Hunters

🌟 Elle Cambi and Blue on Bye took champion in the Opportunity 2’ Hunters
