As I sit still this early morning listening to the rain fall and appreciating the beauty of the lightning (from a distance) I pause to take pride in the work we accomplished yesterday. After some maintenance work and weeding Marla got to work pounding some t-posts and Angie seeded a ton of future crops. We then worked together to get some lettuces and scallions transplanted and finished the night with a few sunflower plants going in the soil. Here’s for some good rain, and fingers crossed the damaging winds and hail predicted are none or easy on the earth! Happy Wednesday All

Field Trip… here’s a view of what the hightunnel looks like right now!

We did it, we said we wanted to do something… and we did it. We went in and planted a ton of flowers installed trellis systems for tomatoes and guided the tomatoes up them in the tunnel, watered the greenhouse… and then we got cleaned up and headed to Wilson’s Orchard & Farm to sit under some trees, listen to music, enjoy pizza, chat and RELAX! **the last picture has me in tears laughing** Wilson's Orchard & Farm (Iowa City)
