Gotta love Iowa weather! If anyone is planning to stop out today, please call first. In an effort to keep the team safe and still care for the dogs that are staying with us, we are running very abbreviated hours and crew. So we will be closed off and in throughout the day. Stay safe everyone!

We are gearing up for our next set of Obedience Classes! Let us know if you are interested. We usually hold the group classes on Wednesday evenings. We can do private classes either during the day or other evenings during the week.

Our Obedience Classes go over basic obedience. However what I feel sets us apart is, we also cover lots of basic house manners. It’s also really important that you understand how your dog relates to you and why we do the training we do. Once it makes sense to you, it will make sense to the pup/dog as well!

Grizzly has been ADOPTED! We are wishing him well as he heads off to his new fantastic family!

Good morning! We need help finding a new forever home for Mr Grizzly! He is an amazing 3 year old chocolate lab. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. His obedience is pretty good as well. We have let him play with a couple of our dogs and he’s AMAZING! He absolutely loves to play fetch. When your arm is tired of throwing the ball, he will remind you that you have a second arm. He is perfectly potty trained and we have seen no signs of counter surfing. He really is an amazing dog. He can be a tad shy in a brand new environment but he warms up very quickly. If you are looking for a lab or know someone who would be a good fit for Grizzly, please call/text us at 319-310-4136.

It’s that Holiday time of year! Wanted to give everyone a heads up, we are getting pretty booked for grooms before Christmas. So if you are wanting your dog groomed before Christmas, please reach out as soon as possible. We only have a few spots let. Let’s make sure we have all those pooches looking sharp for Santa!

Annual Haunted Hound House!

Back by popular demand! If your dog is coming in for grooming, training or boarding on Halloween, we can let them go through the Haunted Hound House for only $10!

If you would prefer to schedule a time during the day between 9 am and 3 pm, let us know and we can do that too. Cost is $20/pup.

We look forward to working with the hounds again. Happy Halloween!👻
