Summers here, and so is the heat! Here are some tips to help keep your pets safe and cool this summer!
Make sure to provide your pet with adequate water, shade, and indoor options to beat the heat.
The bugs are still out! Make sure you stay up to date on your flea, tick, and heartworm preventions.
Grilling out? Please keep your pets safe by not allowing them to eat any human food which could lead to issues like choking, intestinal blockages, and/or pancreatitis.
Going for a walk? Test the surface with the back of your hand to see if it's too hot for your pet. Avoid the hottest time of day.
Beach day? Take extra caution near water, using a life vest can offer you peace of mind. Make sure to rinse off and dry your dog's ears after swimming to avoid infection.
Most importantly, Stay Cool like Sully!
