The wait list for SKYFALL litters is now open. As we do not breed much more than 1 litter a year, several people on our list for 2022 and 2023 have obtained amazing puppies from other fantastic breeders. As such, we are evaluating our 2022 and 2023 breeding schedules. We are contemplating a summer 2022 litter that we had not previously advertised, but want to evaluate the number of people interested considering the number of litters available at this time. If you are interested in a SKYFALL puppy, please send us a private message with what you are looking for.

Our potential Summer 2022 litter would be out of 2 working parents, both with pedigrees of amazing USBCHA Open sheep and cattle dogs. Ideal homes would be very active and engaging homes with a preference for people that actively engage in stockdog activities or are interested in doing so. This would not be a litter for individuals interested in highly competitive jump sports. Please reach out for more information.

We have at least one female from our Alba Nite x Eve litter available to an appropriate working and or sport home.

Alba Nite is a USBCHA Open Sheepdog (trial winner and Nationals Qualifier) and daily farm dog. He is OFA Hips Excellent, CEA Carrier and clear for all other on the Optimum Selection Panel. Eve is a USBCHA Open Sheepdog, AHBA Herding Trial Champion, and main farm dog. She is OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal, EOD Marker Carrier, and otherwise DNA Clear for all others on the Optimal Selection Panel.

Both have produced dogs doing well in work and a variety of dog sports. Puppies are 9.5 weeks old. We will not ship. Placement is decided by match and NOT order of contact. Please PM for more information.

We are so happy to announce that Eve is confirmed pregnant!

Eve is a USBCHA Open Sheepdog, AHBA Herding Champion, and the main farm dog. She is from a long line of USBCHA Open Cattledogs. Eve is OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal and DNA Clear for CEA, CL, TNS, IGS, Raines, etc. She is an EOD Marker carrier (per Wisdom Optimal Selection).

Eve was bred to Dee Bailes's Alba Nite. Nite is a very successful USBCHA Open Sheepdog, having won and placed high is several trials across the US, as well as qualifying for Nationals. He is a brother of Alasdair MacRae's Tweed, the 2018 and 2021 USBCHA Sheepdog National Champion. Nite is OFA Hips Excellent and DNA Clear across the board with the Optimal Selection test.

Both dogs have produced excellent working and sporting dogs in previous litters and expect them produce the same in this litter. We do have limited space on our waiting list. Preference is given to working and sporting homes.

Please note, we do not make placements in order of interest, but match puppies to the best possible fit by personality and temperament. We do not ship dog and are located in Southeastern Virginia. We are expecting black and white puppies only. We do not take a deposit. And all puppies are sold under contract and with non breeding ABCA registration unless alternate arrangements are made.

Two weeks ago, Grace (J. Reyes Red x C. Forsyth/R. Brandon Nan) blessed us with two puppies, sired by Terri Chisman's Bedlamb Howl (Bedlamb Torm x Pepper). Named after the second "star" in the handle of the Big Dipper constellation - which is actually 2 stars - Mizar (F) and Alkor (M) are gaining weight like little champs. We are enjoying their current potato phase!

SKYFALL Border Collies has two planned breedings for 2021. If everything goes as we hope, we will announce breedings soon. Please contact us if you are interested in joining our wait list. Both litters are focused on working livestock as all parents are USBCHA Open Sheep or Cattle Trial dogs and practical farm dogs. One litter also has promise for producing potential sport dogs as both parents have produced some lovely dogs in a variety of sports. All parents are fully health tested.

If you are interested in discussing these litters, please contact us here on Facebook. Priority will go to working, sport, and active companion homes. All placements are based on the personality and temperament of the puppies themselves.

We are pleased to introduce the 2020 SKYFALL Dresden Files Litter (Rock x Grace). Peace (black tri colored female with a wide white collar) and Battle (black and white male with a narrow collar) were born Friday, Nov 13th. We are not taking inquiries on these two at this time.

We are excited to announce that Grace is pregnant. We are expecting puppies November 12th.

Grace (Juan Reyes Red x Campbell Forsyth/Richard Brandon's Nan) was bred to Dee Penetzer Bailes's Rock (Susan Henzel-Speer's Nick x Billy Bishop's Stella).

Rock is OFA Hips Good and DNA Clear for CEA, TNS, IGS, MDR1, SN, GGD, Raines and the possible EOD marker. He is a very successful USBCHA Open Sheepdog - winning and placing in trials across the US (including western trials held with range ewes). He has qualified and competed at past USBCHA Nationals and he is a solid farm and chore dog at home. Off of stock, Rock is a friendly, steady companion with a fantastic off switch.

At this time, the wait list for this litter is closed until after the puppies born and we have a final count and genders. I will be contacting additional interested parties with there is space on the list after this point. If you are interested in this litter or in our 2021 plans, feel free to contact us! We are pleased to announce that Eve (Lad x Maid) has achieved her AHBA Herding Championship.

This dog is everything we could have asked for and her puppies from last year are looking amazing. We are looking forward to more competitions and, maybe, more puppies with Eve in the future!

We are excited to announce that Grace (Juan Reyes Red x Campbell Forsyth/Richard Brandon' Nan) has been bred. We are waiting until after the confirmation of pregnancy to fully advertise this litter and announce the stud dog.

If you are looking for a dog with a solid and friendly temperament, an easy going nature, and a lot of potential talent for stock work, feel free to send us a message. Both dogs are fully health tested and are USBCHA Open trial dogs (as well as used on the farm).

Space on the list is limited until we can confirm pregnancy (and until they arrive so we know number and gender).

A private Facebook group for individuals seriously interested in pups will be opened if pregnancy is confirmed. If the breeding did not take, we will be trying again next year.
