🍬 Keep the Candy Away from Your Pets! 🍫
As tempting as those Halloween treats may look, candy can be very dangerous for dogs and cats. Chocolate, xylitol (a common sugar substitute), and even hard candies can cause serious health issues — from vomiting and diarrhea to seizures and liver failure. Wrappers can also cause choking or intestinal blockages.

If your pet gets into candy, don’t wait — contact Slidell Veterinary Hospital or an emergency vet right away. Let’s keep those tails wagging and whiskers happy this Halloween! 🎃🐾
