Hi! My name is Winnie Waffle and I’m a 15 weeks old probable pittie mix. I was found by some sweet people after getting hit by a car and taken to Pontchartrain Animal Hospital. My leg was injured but is healing well and I’m getting a lot of love in the mean time. I am currently up for adoption. I am a little nervous around new people but love kids, dogs, and cats. I am up to date on vaccines for my age, have been started on heartworm/flea prevention, and am waiting for my forever home. When it is time for her to be spayed, there will be a 50% discount. 🩷

Laryssa is a Dayton, Ohio native who relocated to this area with her son in 2013. She began her veterinary career in 2016 and successfully completed the Delgado Vet Tech program in 2022. Outside of work, Laryssa enjoys quality time with her son and pets. She is also an active participant in NORTHSHORE ROLLER DERBY. A fulfilling part of her job is being an emotional support system for pet owners and helping to educate the public about proper animal care. 🖤🤍🤎
