BREAKING NEWS: Dottie had something in her mouth this morning… and for the first time ever, it was actually HER ball! 😂🎾

No stolen socks.
No mystery objects.
No treasures confiscated from the kids.

Just a ball. Like a normal dog. We’re all a little suspicious. 🤣

She really is the goodest girl… when she’s not practicing her side hustle as a tiny furry thief. ❤️🐾

Not even 6am and Dottie is already up to her normal shenanigans. 😂

Today’s clepto item? Sissy’s beloved stuffy. Judging by the state of it, I’m pretty sure Dottie used it like a pacifier all night long. 🤢 It’s wet, disgusting, and somehow she’s looking mighty pleased with herself.

The verdict is still out… guilty or just providing a free slobber spa treatment? 🐾🤣

The Adventures of Dottie: Episode #4,372 — The Case of the Suspiciously Bouncy Treasure 🕵️‍♀️🐾

Dottie has one major flaw as a criminal mastermind: she always tells on herself.

The second she finds something she's not supposed to have, she starts acting *extra weird*—avoiding eye contact, walking suspiciously slow, and somehow looking guilty and proud at the same time.

Today's forbidden treasure? Another bouncy ball.

Which can only mean one thing...

It must have been dentist week for my four kids! 😂 Between the prize boxes and treasure chests, Dottie apparently believes every trip to the dentist is really a shopping spree for her.

At this point, I'm convinced she's keeping a secret stash somewhere in the house. 🎾🐶

This sweet girl has the gentlest soul and the kindest eyes. This morning she was sitting in the doorway, soaking up the sunshine, looking back over her shoulder like she belonged in a painting. Moments like these remind me just how special she is.

Honey doesn't have to do anything extraordinary to steal hearts—she just quietly shines wherever she is. ☀️🐾

Welcoming committee takes their job VERY seriously around here! 😂🐾

The best part of coming home isn't the house… it's the furry fan club waiting at the door like I've been gone for years. The excitement level is unmatched, the personal space is nonexistent, and apparently every arrival deserves a full inspection. ❤️

Today's prized possession? 🏆

A very soggy, thoroughly sucked on, and suspiciously slimy hacky sack. 🤢😂

Based on the amount of drool involved, I'd say Dottie has been "practicing her footwork" with it for quite some time. She seemed very proud of her treasure... the kids, however, will be significantly less impressed when it is discovered in all of its nastiness.

Some dogs collect sticks. Dottie apparently collects stolen sporting equipment. 🐾
