Why are shelters and rescues always full when you turn to them for help? 😫

It's simple math:
The amount of animals needing assistance FAR SURPASSES the amount of organizations trying to help.

The overpopulation crisis can be overwhelming, but the good news is that the suffering and deaths of homeless animals is ✨100% PREVENTABLE✨ through spaying and neutering.

Despite recommendations and urgings from nonprofit groups, veterinarians, and public shelters and a growing number of free and low-cost spay/neuter clinics, many people still fail to provide their animal companions with this routine, lifesaving medical procedure.

HOW CAN INDIVIDUALS HELP?
✅ Educate with spay/neuter and TNR information; assist folks if you can!
✅ Foster, if you are able, to free up more space within shelters and rescues.
✅ Find out how to participate in TNR in your community. Even one kitty at a time helps tremendously!
✅ Spay and neuter ALL of your companion animals.
✅ Adopt from reputable shelters and rescues. Not only are you saving that life, but you are opening up a spot for them to intake another animal in need.
❌ Don't hand out free, unaltered cats/kittens without an adoption process.
❌ Don't acquire free, unaltered cats/kittens unless you know you can afford to have them vetted.

If you see this happening online, comment! Politely let folks know why this is risky and how it can add to the overpopulation problem. Don't be silent. We are their voice.

Darla is ready for rescue pull. I am not sure if she is pregnant, but she hates being in the kennel. She is very lonely. Please help.

Finally!!!

Ohio is aiming to tighten regulations on high-volume dog breeders, potentially bringing significant changes to "puppy mills."

This dog has been seen several times today running along route 62 between Kiantone Road, Jamestown NY and the Ackely Pa rd. When we encountered the dog, it went down a driveway by the river and then we lost sight of it. If you see this dog, please just report the sightings. It is in survival mode and will not come to anyone. Several people have tried to capture it and it just runs. Please call 7163972506 with any sightings.Thank you.!!

🐾💞 STORY TIME! 💞🐾

These two beautiful ladies were rescued by a kind soul in Jamestown — someone who simply couldn’t walk away.

All summer long ☀️ she cared for them, made sure they had vet care, full bellies, and lots of love.
But as the weather started to turn ❄️… she knew she couldn’t leave them outside.

So, she reached out to us — and of course, we said yes! 💕
We’ve worked with her before and will always support her mission to help the forgotten city kitties. 🐱🏙️

We just happened to have two kennels open, so we squeezed them in — but now it’s time to find them something better… something forever. 🏡

✨ Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, and sweet as can be.
They adore each other, but would also do just fine on their own. 💖

Give these sweet gals a chance 🥰

And now… 🎬 Introducing… THE BRADY BUNCH! 🎬

Meet our graduated bottle babies — Greg, Peter, Bobby, Marcia, Jan, and Cindy! 🎓🐱
(Yes, it’s a full house 😅)

They’ve grown up healthy and happy, play nonstop, and melt hearts everywhere they go. 💕
They’re joined by two extra kennel mates and their very patient mama — who’s officially over mom duty 😂 and will be spayed Wednesday before joining the adoption list too!

The Brady Bunch and friends are all available as Foster-to-Adopt.
That means you can take them home now, love them endlessly, and finalize the adoption once they’re fixed (by 6 months). 🩺

You can use your own vet, or our amazing spay/neuter clinic — whatever works best for you!

If any of these sweet faces have stolen your heart 📱 send us a message or text Kelly at (716) 224-2244.

reWarning… they won’t stay available long! 😻

💖 Let’s get these deserving kitties the homes they’ve been waiting for. 💖

‼️Dog at Large-86 Mile marker .09 westbound‼️

We received two calls about a corgi in the west bound lane of I-86.

By the time we arrived on scene the dog was no longer there.

If you are missing your corgi I would check the area, with any luck it went home!
