If your dog gets overly excited on walks or when they see other dogs, you’re not alone.
This is called excitement reactivity — basically, your dog’s emotions get big and their impulse control can’t keep up yet.

They’re not being “bad.”
They just need help learning how to pause, breathe, and check-in before reacting.

Small daily practice goes a long way:
• Reward calm eye contact
• Use space before greetings
• Slow the pace, don’t rush the environment
• End on a calm win, not the hype
