Meet Sylvester & Mittens! 🐾

This sweet sibling duo is looking for their forever homes!

✨ Sylvester is the life of the party—friendly, outgoing, and full of energy. He loves to play, explore, and will happily be the first one to greet you.

✨ Mittens is extra special—she’s a polydactyl girl with adorable “thumbs”! She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s just as friendly, playful, and energetic as her brother. Mittens does lean on Sylvester for confidence, so it would be wonderful if they could find a home together, though it’s not required.

Both are currently thriving in foster care and can’t wait to meet their forever families!

Meet Matty! 🐾
Matty may be blind, but he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit. This sweet boy is full of s***k and personality—he’s known for always having his little tongue sticking out, which just adds to his charm!

Matty has no fear and loves to wrestle and jump on the backs of the other cats and kittens. He’s also figured out his own unique way of exploring—climbing down from beds, couches, and even the cat tree backwards!

Affectionate, playful, and brave, Matty is looking for his forever family who will love him just the way he is. 💕

✨ Meet Willow ✨

Willow is a very special little kitten who has proven just how resilient and amazing cats can be! 💕 She recently had a double eye enucleation, which means she’s completely blind—but don’t let that fool you. This brave girl doesn’t let it slow her down one bit!

Willow is playful, curious, and full of kitten energy, and when she’s done with her adventures, she’s more than happy to curl up and snuggle. She’s also very friendly and cat-social, making her a great companion for a household with other cats.

Currently in foster, Willow is thriving and ready to find her perfect forever home where she’ll be loved for the incredible, one-of-a-kind kitten she is. 🏡💖

🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED – ADULT CATS 🚨

We are urgently looking for fosters for five friendly adult cats who are currently living outside in a not-so-safe area with no shelter etc. These cats deserve a chance at a safe and loving home, but we cannot bring them inside without foster homes lined up.

Even if you can only take one at a time, it makes a huge difference! One of the cats does have an upper respiratory infection, but we will cover all medical care, supplies, and support.

These kitties are sweet, social, and ready for their second chance — they just need a temporary safe space to start their journey.

🎉🐾 After 2.5 long months of waiting, Ginny finally packed her tiny suitcase and headed off to her forever home! 🐾🎉
Day after day, she patiently watched other kitties find their families, never giving up hope that hers would come too. 💔 But Ginny’s heart knew what it was waiting for — and wow, was it worth it.
Her new family is absolutely incredible, showering her with the love she’s been dreaming of all this time. 💖✨

Sweet Candy has had quite the journey to her forever home. 💕 She was trapped as a stray, gave birth to her babies, and watched them all find loving families. Candy herself faced some big challenges too—she needed a total ear ablation, but through it all she remained resilient and strong.

Her foster family cared for her every step of the way, and somewhere along the journey, Candy worked her magic on them. 🐾 They realized she was already right where she belonged—and officially made her part of their family!

After everything she’s been through, Candy finally has the happy ending she deserves. 🏡❤️

Our sweet Hardy—now Ozzy—just went home tonight with a wonderful family! ❤️ He now has two awesome human siblings, plus both a feline and a canine sibling to keep him company. 🐱🐶

Nermal Grey, now Atticus, just left the adoption center to start his new life!

He gave us quite a scare when he got sick in foster care, but thanks to quick vet care, lots of love, and the incredible dedication of his foster mom, he made a full recovery. 💪🐾

Now this handsome boy is healthy, happy, and ready to be spoiled for life.

We’re looking for foster homes for multiple litters of adorable kittens. They’re already eating on their own and just need a safe, loving place to grow until they’re ready for adoption. 🐾💙

For Kitty's Sake and Village Trappers are stepping in to help with an overcrowding situation, but we can’t do it without foster support.
We provide supplies and cover vet care — you provide the love and care.

If you can open your home (even temporarily!) to help these little ones, please send us a message.

Our Story

For Kitty’s Sake is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. We work within our community to provide a safe haven, medical support, foster placement and adoptive homes for cats in need. We depend upon our foster parents, board members, veterinarians, and volunteers to care for our cats while they await adoption.

Our adoption process is thorough. We require vet references from all of our potential adopters and will do home visits and follow-up visits in most cases. For Kitty's Sake will take back any cat we have adopted out with no questions asked. We prioritize the health and well-being of each and every cat that comes to us and are proud to be one of the few local groups who will invest the time and attention to making sure that all of our cats go to homes in which they will be loved and well-cared for for the rest of their lives! Our goal is to ensure a quality life for each and every one of our cats.

For Kitty’s Sake relies entirely on donations and fundraising events to support our mission. Community support and involvement is crucial to our effectiveness. We could not achieve our mission without the dedicated assistance of our foster home providers, our adoptive families, our veterinarian and business partners, our volunteer network and our generous supporters.
