Well, knowing very little about dogs, but always being an animal lover, Cari decided she would rescue a dog from a high kill shelter. She decided to get a trainer, knowing that if she brought Sadie back to the shelter, she would have no chance at finding a home. From her initial meeting with the trainer, Cari knew wh

at she wanted to do with her life and decided to dedicate it to these wonderful animals. We will work with you and your dog, one on one in your home so that we can address your dog's specific needs. Not sure if your dog can be fixed? Contact me! Gone long days? We also can provide you with dog walking. We can either come over and play with your dog or take them on a structured, well mannered walk. We can even teach your dog how to use a treadmill! Just want your dog to play, or are you going away? You can drop them off to play or stay while you are away. If they do not like other dogs, we will spend individual time with them.

Real grass wasn’t surviving this crew — so we made a change 🐾 Artificial turf is officially in at Cari’s Canine Pros and the dogs are already obsessed 😂
This is just the beginning — sun shades and a full misting system are next so every pup stays cool and comfortable all summer long. Your dog deserves a place that’s clean, safe, and actually FUN to be in 🙌

📣 IMPORTANT: CCP will be CLOSED the last week of April for a scheduled vacation.
The big reveal is finally here — and we are SO proud of this space. 🐾
We have been working hard behind the scenes to level up what was already a great environment for your dogs. New epoxy floors, crates getting set up, and a whole lot of love poured into every upgrade along the way.
Is it 100% finished? Not quite. But are we close? Very close — and you can absolutely see the vision.
Your dogs have always been in good hands here at Cari’s Canine Pros — and now the space is catching up to the care. 🏠✨
📅 Boarding is filling up FAST. Spots are limited and we are already booking out — so if you’ve been thinking about it, now is the time.

We’ll be closed March 9–15 while we give Cari’s Canine Pros a much-needed upgrade. 🛠️🐾

When we built out our space, we truly thought we did the right thing with the pretty gym rubber mats. What no one tells you? How hard they are to keep truly clean with dog feet — and how much moisture they hold, especially in a basement. Lesson learned. 😅

This upgrade means epoxy floors that are significantly easier to clean, sanitize, and maintain at the level we expect for your dogs. No trapped moisture, no lingering smells, no constant battle.

We can’t have any dogs on-site during this time, but we’ll be back better than ever — and I couldn’t be more excited about what this means for our boarding and training space.
And of course… the floors will have purple speckles in them. 💜

I have been so bad at posting I have not introduced Sam, my new foster dog who is here for a board and train until he finds a new foster or home of his own! Sam is a basset hound/lab mix maybe. Huge lab head and body with Bassett hound short legs!! I don’t think he likes peeing when the snow is all the way up to his belly! He’s available through he’s so sweet!
