Meet Bennie! With a gorgeous brown coat, handsome face and the perfect smile, how could you resist a pup like him? Bennie is an absolute sweetheart who will melt in your arms. He is such a goofball who could spend hours bouncing around the corral if he was given the chance. Bennie has such a unique personality that makes him stand out from the rest. He loves to use his nose to play a game of hide and seek with some treats.

🚨🚨Our kennels are nearly full and we need a little help from all our friends! 🚨🚨

Here’s how you can help:
✅ Adopt! Come meet one of these sweet pups during our open hours Tuesdays through Sundays from 1-5 p.m. You just might leave with a BFF (and we really hope you do)!
✅ Sign up to be a foster! We’re able to support so many pets thanks to INCREDIBLE foster volunteers (shout-out to you all 🫶). We always need more fosters though! Check our website and sign up to foster today.
✅ Share this post! Spread the word that some very dapper, loving, fun and awesome dog-o’s have been in the shelter for far too long and they deserve to finally have their forever home! (Scroll 👉 for video evidence of said awesomeness!)

The Seattle Animal Shelter is collecting pet food donations for our upcoming Pet Food Bank and we need your help! We’re currently seeking donations of dog and cat food, preferably small bags. If you have any items to spare, please consider dropping them off at the shelter and we’ll distribute them at our next pet food bank event.

These events are free, open to the public and happen the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon at the Seattle Animal Shelter.
