Paw Placement Animal Rescue Paw Placement Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill organization based in Scottsdale, Ariz. On average we rescue 600 animals per year.

Paw Placement conducts adoptions through one PETsMART adoption center. Over the past ten years of operation, we have adopted over 8,000 homeless cats and dogs into loving homes. All animals adopted through Paw Placement are spayed/neutered. Standard care provided for felines includes FeLV/FIV testing, annual vaccinations (boosters for kittens), rabies inoculations and microchip. Standard care pro

vided for canines includes annual vaccinations (boosters for puppies), rabies inoculations and microchip. Paw Placement defines itself as “no-kill,” and provides any necessary veterinary care, over and above the standard care, when it is needed and where quality of life is not an issue. We have approximately 190 active volunteers. The organization houses its cats in a PETsMART 7 day adoption center and in a network of foster homes. Paw Placement houses its dogs in a network of foster homes, as well, where volunteers offer loving structure and training to increase adoptability. We screen all potential adopters through an adoption questionnaire and conduct home visits to insure that animals are going into a nurturing environment.

Truffles is a gentle, affectionate young mama who raised her kittens with love, and now it's her turn to be pampered. We think she's so pretty and she will quietly follow you from room to room, curl up next to you on the couch and look at you like you're the best part of her day. She's not needy, just loyal. She'll give you space when you need it but she's always nearby when you need a cuddle. She's done an amazing job raising her babies and is now spayed, healthy, and ready for a home where she can be the getting the love. Truffles would do well in a calm home, either solo or with other respectful pets. Sly is a shy boy relearning to trust people after he and over 15 other cats were abandoned by their owner. He enjoys being petted, but his favorite thing is eating Churus! Sheba and Sly came to us after losing their home along with several of their brothers and sisters. They were rescued by a neighbor who cared and made sure they felt safe and loved. They were given time to adjust to new people and surroundings and their true hearts began to shine. Now they purr like they found peace again and once they are chosen by new families we know they will be loyal friends for life, ready to fill your home with warmth, joy and unconditional love.
