Happy National Hug Your Cat Day!

Today is all about celebrating our feline friends and the special ways they show their love. Whether your cat enjoys being held close, curling up beside you, or simply supervising from across the room, every cat has their own unique love language.

The best "hug" for many cats might be a gentle chin scratch, a cozy lap, or some extra playtime with their favorite toy. 🐾

Share a photo of your feline friend in the comments—we'd love to see the cats that make your life a little brighter every day! 💙

Love Conquers All Day ❤️

Every day, we're reminded of the incredible bond between pets and the people who love them.

From nervous first visits and recovery journeys to senior pet care and everything in between, love is often the driving force behind every wagging tail, gentle purr, and act of compassion.

Today, we're celebrating the unconditional love our dogs and cats give so freely—and the families who do everything they can to keep them happy and healthy.

Share a photo of a pet who has captured your heart! We'd love to celebrate them with you.

Happy National Rotisserie Chicken Day!

While that delicious rotisserie chicken may have your dog's nose working overtime and your cat plotting their next kitchen heist, remember that not every part of the chicken is safe for pets!

-Cooked bones can splinter and cause serious injuries or blockages.
- Many rotisserie chickens contain seasonings, garlic, onion, and excess sodium that can be harmful to pets.

If you'd like to share a treat with your furry family members, stick to small amounts of plain, unseasoned chicken with all bones removed.

Tell us below: Does your pet come running the moment they smell chicken?

Today we got to meet these adorable new babies!

One of the best parts of what we do is getting to watch our patients grow from tiny puppies and kittens into happy, healthy adults. From their very first visits to all the milestones that follow, we're honored to be part of their journey.

We can't wait to see these little ones grow and thrive!

🦖 Happy Dinosaur Day! 🦕

Ever wonder what dinosaur your pet would be?

- Some dogs have the energy and enthusiasm of a Velociraptor—always on the move and ready for adventure!

- Some cats channel their inner T. rex—ruling the house with confidence, attitude, and just a touch of mischief.

While our canine and feline patients aren't quite prehistoric, they certainly keep us on our toes! Today we're celebrating all the "mini dinosaurs" who fill our lives with love, laughter, and the occasional chaos.

📸 Share a photo of your dog or cat in the comments and tell us which dinosaur they remind you of!

Nothing—and we mean NOTHING—beats seeing happy puppies on a Friday morning. Today we got a double dose of serotonin with sweet Banjo and Earl the Girl (yes, that’s her government name and yes, we’re obsessed). How did we get this lucky?!?!?!

These tiny angels also came to remind everyone that puppy wellness visits are kind of a big deal. Getting your new bestie in early for a checkup and starting vaccines ASAP helps keep them healthy, happy, and ready for a lifetime of zoomies, snacks, and questionable life choices.

Today is World Hunger Day

A day to recognize the reality of hunger and food insecurity affecting millions of people worldwide—and to reflect on how food systems, access, and sustainability shape health outcomes.

Food security is deeply connected across humans, animals, and the environment. Healthy livestock, sustainable agriculture, disease control in food animals, and resilient ecosystems all play a role in ensuring communities have reliable access to nutritious food.

It’s also a reminder that reducing waste, supporting local food systems, and strengthening global cooperation can make a meaningful difference.

Today is about awareness, responsibility, and the shared goal of a healthier, better-fed world for all.

Today is World Otter Day

A day dedicated to celebrating otters—playful, intelligent, and vital members of aquatic ecosystems around the world.

Otters are important indicators of environmental health. As semi-aquatic mammals, they depend on clean waterways, healthy fish populations, and intact habitats. Pollution, habitat loss, and human activity continue to threaten many otter species globally.

Whether they’re floating on their backs, using tools, or caring for their young, otters remind us that curiosity and playfulness are part of survival too.

Today is about appreciating these remarkable animals and supporting efforts to protect the ecosystems they call home.
