Upstate Animal Medical Center is a Small Animal, Avian and Exotic Veterinary Hospital. We have 2 doctors on staff who's specialties including companion, avian, exotic, and wildlife.

Update (9/3/25): Leo has found his fur-ever home with an amazing, long-standing client of UAMC and we couldn't be happier, thank you all!

This three-legged, energetic love bug is up for ADOPTION! Leonardo is a 16 month old orange/white neutered male cat that came to UAMC in April through one of our amazing staff members, Julia, who found him as an injured stray. Dr. Tamas performed his right hind limb amputation and he has been healing in strides ever since. He is very energetic, playful, but does tend to bully other cat friends so we are recommending that he be the only cat in the household, and must be indoor only. He does well with dogs and has adjusted to his three-legged life perfectly. We have 2 kittens that are now ready for adoption here at UAMC! They are 8 weeks old, both male, black with some spots/specs of white and a slight tiger pattern, born here at upstate from the sweetest stray (who already has a loving home set up). Estimated 3 months old, brown tabby with green/brown eyes, female, 3 pounds, no microchip present, no collar/ID info, no spay scar/tattoo seen. Very sweet.
