Meet Our Team

Dr. Kayla Karn, VMD
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kayla Karn is known for her calm, steady presence and her ability to put both pets and their families at ease. She approaches each visit with quiet confidence, taking the time to be thorough and thoughtful so nothing feels rushed or overlooked.
She grew up in Oxford, New York, and earned her degree in Biology from SUNY Oswego. She went on to receive her veterinary degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Karn is Fear Free Certified and has a strong interest in preventive care, surgery, and dentistry. She focuses on making visits as low-stress as possible while providing care that helps pets feel better and stay healthy long-term.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Karn enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time outdoors hiking. She stays busy at home with her husband, Tyler, their twin daughters, Poppy and Josephine, and their dog Winnie, a lab/husky mix.
Dr. Karn is thoughtful, consistent, and easy to talk to. She has a naturally calm and reassuring presence, especially in situations that may feel overwhelming. She takes the time to explain things clearly and make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your pet’s care.

Dr. Jennifer Robeson, DVM
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Jennifer Robeson is known for her warm, approachable style and her focus on building strong, lasting relationships with both pets and their families. She has a special interest in preventive care and believes that small, consistent steps can make a big difference in a pet’s long-term health and quality of life.
She grew up on Long Island in Hicksville, New York, and earned her degree in Biochemistry, with a minor in Environmental Studies, from SUNY Geneseo. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University.
Dr. Robeson is Fear Free Certified and Cat Friendly Certified, and she has a strong passion for feline medicine. She understands that cats often need a different approach and takes extra care to make visits as calm and comfortable as possible. She also places a strong emphasis on the human-animal bond and works closely with families to create care plans that feel realistic, supportive, and tailored to each pet.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Robeson enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and running. She spends much of her time with her family, including her husband, Trevor, their children, Eric and Talia, and their pets: a mixed breed dog named Cricket, and two cats, Butters and Nobu.
Dr. Robeson is known for her gentle, compassionate approach and her ability to make both pets and their owners feel at ease. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your pet’s care.

Belmont week is finally here in Saratoga Springs, and while we’re excited for all the racing action, we were even more excited to welcome back the Portnoy family!

It was great to see Miss Peaches and Pete the Beagle, for a visit at our Saratoga office.

These two and their Dad have become incredible advocates for rescue pets, helping shine a spotlight on the importance of adoption and giving animals a second chance. We’re always happy to see them walk through our doors!

🐾 Fear Free Moment of the Day! 🐾

Luna was all smiles (and treats!) during her visit thanks to veterinary assistant Jessica and a little Fear Free magic. 💙

At Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital, we use positive reinforcement techniques like high-value treats, gentle handling, and patience to help pets feel safe and comfortable during their appointments. By creating positive experiences, we can reduce stress, build trust, and make future visits easier for both pets and their families.

Meet Our Team

Dr. Emma Briceland, DVM, CVA
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Emma Briceland brings an energetic, personable approach to veterinary care and has a natural ability to connect with both pets and their families. She enjoys getting to know her clients, building relationships, and making each visit feel comfortable and engaging.
She has a strong interest in geriatrics, pain management, and osteoarthritis, and works closely with families to help pets stay active, comfortable, and enjoying a good quality of life as they age.
Dr. Briceland grew up in Malta, New York, and earned her degree in Animal Science from SUNY Cobleskill. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through Chi University.
She is Fear Free Certified and uses a combination of traditional medicine and acupuncture to support pets dealing with chronic pain and mobility concerns. Her focus is on helping pets feel better day to day and maintaining their comfort as their needs change.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Briceland enjoys running, fitness classes, birding, and traveling to the Caribbean. At home, she shares her life with her wife, Dr. Landgraf, and their animals, including two rescue dogs, Soca and Kasin, a horse named Star, and fish.
Dr. Briceland is known for her upbeat, outgoing personality and her ability to make people feel at ease right away. She takes the time to talk through concerns, answer questions, and create a plan that feels clear, manageable, and supportive for both pets and their families.

Dr. Landgraf knows that one of the best ways to create a positive veterinary experience is through Fear Free handling, patience, and plenty of tasty distractions. Ozias Qi was more than happy to demonstrate his impressive treat-focused skills during his visit!
