First, thank you.🙏🙏

Thank you to everyone who has been with us since day one, and thank you to all the new followers who have joined along the way.

What started as a voice for Chevy has become a community of people determined to make sure these dogs are not forgotten.

We get asked all the time:

“How can I help?”

The answer is simple.

Share the content.

When you see The Asher House tagged in posts about rescue, second chances, dog welfare, or animal advocacy, help make sure people see the full picture.

Share the public records.
Share the documented timelines.
Share the stories of the dogs.
Share the side of Lee Asher many supporters never see.

Many people have never heard of Chevy, Kennedy, Biggie, Estrella, Ernie, Janey, Wally, and others.

You don’t need to argue.
You don’t need to attack anyone.
You don’t need to tell people what to think.

Just help make the information available.

The goal has never been hate.

When the Truth becomes the Enemy

Take a closer look at their words. These women all believe in a lie.

The most powerful deception is not convincing people to believe the lie.

It’s convincing them that the person telling the lie should never be questioned. EVER.

Lee Asher has learned what they want to hear. He reflects their hopes, fears, frustrations, and dreams to draw them into his world.

Over time, admiration becomes trust. Trust becomes loyalty and their loyalty has become something far more dangerous.

Belief.

A point where whatever he says is accepted as truth~not because it has been proven, only because it came from him. A point where facts no longer matter.

Lee's word has become the standard by which truth and reality is measured.

The power of a personality that is elevated beyond accountability.

Not merely influence but blind devotion.

The kind of blind devotion that asks people to doubt their own eyes before they doubt the person they admire.

A lie can be told by one person. It survives when others defend it. It grows when others repeat it. It endures because they protect it. But it takes blind loyalists to keep it alive.

Because once a person becomes larger than the truth, the truth itself becomes the enemy.

Remembering Chevy 🤍🐾

Two years ago today, Chevy died.

What began as the story of one dog became something much bigger.

Chevy touched the hearts of thousands of people. Many never met him, yet they saw a dog worth fighting for. A dog whose life mattered.

And it still does.

Chevy’s story opened people’s eyes. It inspired questions, conversations, and advocacy that continue to this day.

Not because anyone wants to live in the past, but because every dog deserves to be seen, valued, and given a genuine chance.

His legacy is not defined by how his story ended.

His legacy is the people who continue to care.

The people who continue to ask questions.

The people who continue to speak up for animals who cannot speak for themselves.

Two years later, Chevy is still remembered.

Still loved.

Still the reason many of us refuse to look away.

Today we remember a dog who deserved better, and we honor him by continuing to advocate for the animals who still need a voice.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

"WE DON'T SHOW OFF OUR AMAZING DONKEYS ENOUGH"

A typical sanctuary post introduces the animals.

It tells you their names.

Their personalities.

Their history.

Why they're at the sanctuary.

What special care they receive.

What training, enrichment, or medical support they're getting.

Instead, viewers got a minute-long video of Lee walking into a pen because two donkeys happened to be standing there.

He scratched them.

They tolerated it.

Then he walked away.

They didn't follow him.

In fact, other donkeys in the video appeared to move away from him.

That's what makes the video so strange.

At a well-socialized sanctuary, animals often seek out the people who care for them every day. They approach staff and volunteers because those relationships have been built through consistent interaction, feeding, enrichment, and trust.

This video didn't showcase the donkeys.

It didn't showcase a sanctuary program.

It showcased a person petting two donkeys for a minute.

And somehow that was presented as evidence of an "amazing" donkey sanctuary.
