📚📺 ANOTHER BOOK INTERVIEW. SAME UNANSWERED QUESTIONS.

Another emotional reflection on Lee’s journey on the Tamron Hall Show. Pam-Pam, the dog of the week, gets the spotlight.
The book gets promoted.

What apparently didn’t make the interview?

❓The DOJ investigation into the nonprofit’s finances. Where are the answers?

❓The 69 dogs transferred out in 2024. Where did they go, and what happened afterward? Transferred does not mean adopted.

❓Velveteen’s return and death. What happened, and what is the status of any investigation?

❓The dogs who died or were euthanized without the public acknowledgment we’ve been asking for. Kennedy, Biggie, Estrella, Petunia, Chisme and many others. Those dogs didn’t get a chapter.

And remember the Asher business web we put together? Private businesses, wellness products, personal Patreon, management, social media, and book promotion, all connected to his public identity as an animal rescuer.

That side of “Lee’s journey” doesn’t get discussed either.

How much goes to Lee personally?
How much goes to the nonprofit? Who pays the promotional expenses?
Does any portion of his book earnings support the animals’ care?

And did Tamron Hall’s team review his Patreon videos before booking him or just the promotional materials?

The footage involving Enzo?
The Papa G j**z video, Asher dangling a cat while talking about its testicles, explaining neutering a puppy and talking about puppy j**z, comparing Princesses tail to an elephant cock…

Would Tamron still be comfortable giving him this glowing platform after watching those videos herself?

If you’re presenting someone as an animal-welfare inspiration, reviewing how they handle animals seems like a reasonable place to start.

The animals built the audience. Lee gets the book deal, the publicity, and a platform for his private businesses.

He gets another opportunity to earn. What do the animals get financially?

We can see how the rescue grows his brand. We’re still waiting to see how his brand’s earnings benefit the rescue.

WHEN ANIMAL RESCUE BECOMES A BACKDROP FOR SOMETHING ELSE

What troubles us about this Patreon video extends beyond Lee Asher’s conduct. It includes what some members of his Patreon community openly encourage and celebrate.

Lee begins the 2023 Patreon video with an introduction about Enzo, a newly acquired pitbull mix with an upper respiratory infection. Then Lee switches the conversation to announce that Luke, his beloved hound, has unexpectedly died from cancer. It is a very short and unemotional announcement regarding the passing of Luke.

Minutes later Lee sits down and starts talking about Enzo again. Enzo grips Lee’s arm and humps him while Lee continues filming without interrupting the inappropriate behavior. Lee then says, “I’m pretty sure he just ej******ed on my elbow,” followed by, “I’m not 100% positive.”

We are keeping the description brief. Viewers can examine the footage and judge his response themselves.

The comments from Lee's Patreon community, however, speak plainly.

One Patreon member jokes about whether Enzo would “come” when called. Another writes, “Hi Enzo get after that arm and bring it home!” Others call Lee “Enzo’s girlfriend,” make sexual remarks about his body, and joke about being jealous of the dog.

Lee's Patreon community praise the jokes. Laughing emojis subsequently are posted by others.

One dog’s death and sexual jokes involving another dog become part of the same entertainment.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SUPPORT OF THIS ABHORRENT BEHAVIOR

The community includes people identified as holding leadership, board, and rescue partner roles. Where those individuals personally participate in these exchanges, their judgment deserves scrutiny.

Membership alone does not establish endorsement. A person’s own comments and encouragement are another matter.

Other Patreon material raises similar concerns about explicit sexual commentary alongside animal-related content. Members have also posted that they miss Lee’s drinking livestreams because they found them entertaining.

A private platform does not eliminate accountability. Calling something entertainment does not answer questions about judgment, boundaries, or respect for the animals involved.

WHEN LOYALTY GOES UNQUESTIONED

The Asher House presents itself as a rescue built around compassion and protecting vulnerable animals. Those values should extend to how animals are handled and portrayed.

The dog bears no responsibility for the adults’ choices. The adults decide whether to interrupt the behavior, keep filming, share the footage, or turn it into sexual jokes.

Supporters do not have to accept every criticism. But they should be willing to examine specific conduct honestly—even when it involves someone they admire.

For people who hold positions of responsibility in rescue, that obligation carries particular weight. If the public is expected to trust their judgment about vulnerable animals, the public is entitled to question what they encourage and defend.

THE ANIMALS DESERVE BETTER

Past accomplishments and personal admiration do not place anyone beyond accountability.

The animals cannot challenge the stories told about them or defend themselves in a comment section. They depend on people willing to put their welfare above personal loyalty.

If your principles only apply until someone you admire is questioned, what exactly are those principles protecting—the animals, or the person?

Valerie, I noticed you shared John 10:10 on your own page:

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

Beautiful scripture! ✝️

But since we're quoting the Bible, perhaps you should revisit another verse.

📖 Exodus 20:3 — “You shall have no other gods before me.”

The Bible is quite clear about idolatry, Valerie.

Yet here you are, seemingly placing so much faith in Lee Asher that you find it offensive when anyone dares to question him.

Lee Asher is a MAN, Valerie. Not the Messiah. Not your savior. And certainly not above accountability.

You suggested we should spend our energy saving dogs rather than questioning him.

Here's what you apparently don't understand: Advocating for animals INCLUDES holding the people entrusted with their care accountable.

We're asking for transparency, veterinary documentation, and answers about animals. You're defending a celebrity.

You profess to put your faith in God, yet you're treating a human being as though questioning him is blasphemy.

Perhaps the devil doesn't need to lead people away from their faith when they're already busy putting false idols on pedestals.

We'll continue advocating for the voiceless.

And remember, Valerie: God asks for faith. Lee Asher owes accountability. Please don't confuse the two.

More than TWO YEARS later, The Asher House recycles what appears to be the SAME 4-minute-and-4-second rescue video!

Same dog. Same footage. Same emotional storytelling. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Even the video begins with “Today is rescue day.”

BUT WHERE IS BEAST TODAY?

🚨 HERE'S WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING!

We've reviewed The Asher House's animal intake lists submitted to the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA), with records extending through March 2025.

And guess whose name we couldn't find?

BEAST!

Despite his highly publicized rescue in July 2024, Beast does NOT appear on ANY of the intake lists we've reviewed!

AN OVERSIGHT? A RECORDKEEPING ERROR? LISTED UNDER ANOTHER NAME? OR A PURPOSEFUL OMISSION?

We don't know. But these are questions worth asking!

SO WHAT HAPPENED TO BEAST?

Is Beast still alive and residing at The Asher House?

❓️Was he transferred or adopted?

💀 Has he passed away?

📃 Why doesn't he appear on the ODA intake records we've obtained?

TO BE CLEAR: Our ODA records extend through March 2025. We do not have the subsequent records, and Beast's absence from the lists we've reviewed does not prove that no record exists elsewhere.

But shouldn't a dog whose rescue was broadcast to hundreds of thousands of people have a traceable intake and disposition history?

There's nothing wrong with revisiting an animal's rescue story.

But reposting two-year-old footage without identifying its original date or providing a current update raises legitimate questions about transparency.

Beast's traumatic past was shared with hundreds of thousands of viewers in 2024 and promoted again in 2026.

These emotional rescue stories generate enormous engagement and potentially donations.

BUT WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY AFTER THE CAMERAS STOP ROLLING?

Think about it.

An animal can become famous through a highly publicized rescue. Yet without properly documented intake and disposition records, how can anyone independently establish what happened to that animal afterward?

THAT'S WHY RECORDKEEPING MATTERS!

Without a reliable paper trail, animals can potentially be transferred, disappear from public view, or pass away without their followers ever knowing what happened.

WE ARE NOT CLAIMING THAT ANY OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED TO BEAST.

We are pointing out that his name is absent from the intake lists we've obtained and his current status remains unverified.

And after more than TWO YEARS, isn't it reasonable to ask for an update?

A RESCUE STORY GETS ATTENTION.

AN INTAKE RECORD ESTABLISHES A PAPER TRAIL.

A FOLLOW-UP DEMONSTRATES ACCOUNTABILITY.

🚨 THE ASHER HOUSE: DO ZONING LAWS ONLY APPLY TO SMALL, STRUGGLING ANIMAL RESCUES?

Apparently, when you're a small animal rescue or sanctuary, you have to follow zoning laws, obtain permits, and comply with county regulations.

But when you're Lee Asher, with millions of followers and a multimillion-dollar nonprofit, are the rules somehow different? 🤔

LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT MARION COUNTY PLANNING ACTUALLY SAID.

Recently, written responses from Marion County Planning regarding The Asher House's zoning restrictions were shared with Justice for Chevy.

And the answers raise some very serious questions.

🐾 FIRST, THE PROPERTY.

The Asher House operates on land zoned Exclusive Farm Use (EFU).

According to Marion County Planning:

❌ Animal adoptions are NOT permitted at the Salem property under its current zoning.

❌ New kennels are NOT allowed.

❌ Organized sanctuary tours and business-related gatherings are NOT authorized under the property's current land-use approval.

And that includes the described Patreon tours and events, even when they're called PRIVATE gatherings!

🐾 BUT WHAT ABOUT INVITED GUESTS?

Planning explained that Lee Asher can invite friends and family over for ordinary social gatherings, such as birthday parties and BBQs.

But there's a difference between inviting friends over for dinner and organizing sanctuary tours.

Calling something PRIVATE doesn't automatically make it an allowable private social gathering.

And when specifically asked whether the property currently has land-use approval authorizing the described tours and events, Planning's answer was NO.

Yet multiple Patreon gatherings have taken place, including another earlier this month. 🤔

🐾 AND WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE OTHER SANCTUARY TOURS?

We've seen publicly shared photographs from people associated with a developer, a real estate agency, and a barbershop documenting visits to The Asher House.

Were these purely personal visits? Organized sanctuary tours? Business or sponsorship-related gatherings?

We don't know.

But given the county's responses, those distinctions matter.

An invitation doesn't magically turn an organized sanctuary tour into a backyard BBQ.

NOW HERE'S THE BIGGER ISSUE: WHY SHOULD LEE ASHER BE ANY DIFFERENT? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Across the country, small animal rescues and sanctuaries struggle to stay afloat.

They work tirelessly to care for animals, pay veterinary bills, purchase feed, maintain facilities, and satisfy regulatory requirements.

They don't get to disregard zoning restrictions simply because they're doing something good for animals.

They don't get special exemptions because they have passionate supporters.

And they certainly can't substitute social media popularity for land-use approval.

SO WHY SHOULD THE ASHER HOUSE BE ANY DIFFERENT? 🤔🤔

Does having millions of followers somehow change the rules?

Does operating a multimillion-dollar nonprofit mean zoning restrictions are optional?

Or should the SAME laws apply to EVERYONE, regardless of fame, money, or social media influence?

AND BEFORE THE ASHERETTES START SCREAMING "LIES!" 🗣🗣🗣

Here's a revolutionary idea.

ASK MARION COUNTY YOURSELF!

The county's written responses were specifically about The Asher House and its activities.

We aren't asking anyone to blindly believe Justice for Chevy.

If The Asher House has obtained additional land-use authorization, let's see it.

We identified at least SIX promotional video listings, and those are just the ones we've documented!

And here's the interesting thing about preorders.

Qualifying advance sales can count toward a book's opening-week numbers, helping create a strong bestseller debut.

And that's exactly the kind of debut Lee achieved.

Saved by the Pack reached #6 on the New York Times Advice, How-To & Miscellaneous bestseller list.

An accomplishment? Absolutely.

But an appearance on a bestseller list and sustained bestseller rankings are two different things.

By the October 18 list shown in our graphic, the book was no longer among that category's Top 10.

The book features stories of rescued animals.

Those animals helped build the audience. Their stories helped make the book possible.

But what portion, if any, of Lee's book proceeds benefits the nonprofit sanctuary?

Is there a royalty-sharing arrangement? A charitable contribution? A percentage of sales designated for animal care?

HAS ANY OF THAT BEEN PUBLICLY DISCLOSED?

Because here's what we'd like to see as much publicity about:

Not Lee's accomplishments.

Not Lee's celebrity status.

Not another interview about Lee's inspirational journey.

THE ANIMALS. AND HOW THEY BENEFIT FINANCIALLY FROM THE STORIES BEING SOLD ABOUT THEM. 🐾

Nobody is disputing that Lee earned a bestseller designation.

We noticed that supporters of Lee Asher and The Asher House are recommending his organization in response to your invitation to nominate animal rescues and sanctuaries for a feature.

Before considering those recommendations, Justice for Chevy would like to offer a very different perspective.

We absolutely support giving deserving animal rescues and sanctuaries the recognition they deserve. But popularity, millions of social media followers, and heartwarming rescue videos should NEVER be substitutes for transparency, accountability, and responsible animal welfare.

MILLIONS OF FOLLOWERS DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN MILLIONS OF REASONS TO TRUST AN ORGANIZATION.

Justice for Chevy has spent considerable time examining The Asher House, including public records that raise important questions deserving of independent scrutiny.
🐾 ANIMAL ACCOUNTABILITY: Government records documenting animals transferred out of The Asher House and unanswered questions about their ultimate destinations.
🐾 ANIMAL WELFARE: Questions surrounding animal care, housing, veterinary oversight, and the conditions in which animals are kept.
🐾 FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY: Nonprofit financial statements, independent audits, and questions about how millions of dollars in donations are managed.

Because here's something every social media personality with a large platform should consider:
WHEN YOU FEATURE AN ANIMAL RESCUE, YOU AREN'T JUST SHARING A FEEL-GOOD STORY. YOU ARE LENDING THAT ORGANIZATION YOUR CREDIBILITY.

Your audience may donate money, become monthly supporters, or recommend that organization to others based on your endorsement. 🧐

That's an enormous responsibility.
And while The Asher House supporters may enthusiastically nominate Lee Asher, we believe those nominations should be evaluated against the organization's documented record, not its social media popularity.

A BEAUTIFUL SANCTUARY, A CHARISMATIC FOUNDER, AND MILLIONS OF ADORING FANS ARE NOT PROOF OF EXCEPTIONAL ANIMAL CARE.

There are countless smaller rescues doing extraordinary work without celebrity status, million-dollar publicity, or an army of devoted social media followers.
Those organizations deserve attention, too.

Here’s the funny part.

WE’VE BEEN SHOWING YOU THE PROOF.

We’ve posted government records, financial audits, animal records, inspection reports, building permits, corporate filings, and documented timelines.

But apparently, if Lee doesn’t say it in an emotional video, it doesn’t exist.

Where are their stories? Their announcements? Their explanations?

A dog euthanized for supposed behavioral issues deserves acknowledgment just as much as a dog who dies from illness.

Remember when we reported that the Oregon Department of Justice was examining The Asher House?

Lee repeatedly denied there was an investigation.

The nonprofit’s own financial audit even acknowledged an ongoing DOJ inspection.

And what happened?

Supporters dismissed the records and continued insisting there was no investigation.

Until Lee finally acknowledged it himself.

Suddenly, it was believable.

Same investigation. Same documentation. Same facts.

The only thing that changed was whose mouth the information came out of.

Apparently, a government document isn’t proof until Lee Asher gives it permission to be true.
