Meet Dug! Dug came to us as a stray and sadly was never reclaimed so he is now searching for a new forever home!

Dug is a Labrador Retriever that is around 6 years old and weighs 83 pounds! Dug is a big goofball but very happy go lucky. Dug is an expert at fetch, and will fetch a balls for hours if you let him. Dug is housebroken and is good with kids, doesn’t mind the cats and is good with the other dogs! We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 siblings to make sure everyone gets along!

URGENT: SEEKING ANY INFORMATION ON A STRAY PUPPY

Today, we have captured a young female Lab mix found abandoned near E Jackson and North Bagley Road, just outside Saint Louis. We want to thank the community member who contacted central dispatch and made us aware. Her care for animals lead to the safe capture of this sweet pup.

When she was picked up, she was shivering and soaking wet and completely caked in mud. Given the isolated location, it is our heartbreaking belief that she was intentionally dumped.

With temperatures plunging into the low twenties tonight, a soaking wet and muddy puppy simply cannot survive the elements. Had she not been found, she would have a high possibility of freezing to death overnight.

We are doing everything we can to safely warm her up and show her the compassion she was denied. No animal deserves to be discarded like this.
