🐾 Sully’s Journey Home 🐾
From foundation training to forever family 💙

In 2021, Sully first came to us as a younger dog ready to learn. During his time at Ridgeside K9, we focused on building the essentials — structured obedience, clear communication, leash manners, confidence in new environments, and calm, reliable behavior in everyday life.

Sully thrived with structure. He learned that consistency creates freedom, and that clarity builds confidence. 💪🐕

Unfortunately, life happens. Last summer, Sully needed to be rehoused. When that call came, we didn’t hesitate. He came back to us, and we’ve been fostering this sweet old man ever since — keeping his skills sharp, maintaining structure, and making sure he felt secure while we searched for the right match.

We don’t rush the process. The right home matters. The right fit matters. 💙

And then — it happened.

Turnover day was something special. Watching Sully meet his new family and seeing that calm, steady connection reminded us why we do what we do. We reviewed his training, demonstrated his obedience, and made sure his new family felt confident continuing the structure at home — because training doesn’t stop at adoption. It continues through leadership, consistency, and teamwork.

This one meant a little extra. Fostering Sully gave us the chance to see his gentle, loyal heart every day — and while saying goodbye is never easy, watching him walk into his forever home made it all worth it.

Here’s to new beginnings, soft beds, structured walks, and a lifetime of love for this very good boy. 🐾✨

We don’t rush the process. We build clarity, confidence, and consistency — one repetition at a time. 💪🐕

Turnover day was something special. Watching Shadow meet her new family and seeing that instant connection reminded us why we do what we do. We reviewed her training, demonstrated her skills, and made sure her family felt prepared and confident moving forward — because training continues at home with teamwork and structure.

A huge thank you to Tara’s House Animal Rescue for helping give Shadow the opportunity to find her perfect match. Partnerships like this truly change lives. ❤️🐾

We have a winner! 🥇 Meet SHADOW 💘

This little gal has Velcro-attached herself to her trainer-in-training, Addison, at Ridgeside K9 Central MD and is her little shadow. So although we had many other cute and smart names for her (Echo because a bat uses echolocation to navigate was my personal favorite 😂) her personality is that of a sweet little Shadow.

Like the name submittals, she is smart too. She has learned Sit, Down and is working on an Off switch. She is a good little student! ✏️
