Rose Farm Training Center We offer instruction on our school horses and accept horses for training. We have a beautiful, large indoor arena, large outdoor arena, and an event course.

We offer boarding, clinics, open schooling shows, art classes, apprenticeships. Our farm features an eclectic background of skill-sets. I started out as an eventer under Bill Woods when he was showing. Sometime later I apprenticed to F.E.I. rider, Terry Koenig of Middleburg Equestrian Center, who was Olympic-bound with her Trakehner stallion, Inspekteur, when she was tragically killed in a horse a

ccident. She taught me a great deal and was the most beautiful, elegant rider I'd ever seen. Then I met John Lyons and was one of his certified trainers in his early years as a national teacher. This is thetraining background of Rose Farm Training Center. These disciplines support each other quite well for starting horses, re-schooling cranky/lazy/crazy horses, helping people solve their horse problems, and teaching people how to ride. Our emphasis is on lightness. Even the heaviest horses can become light and elegant...from dressage horses to pleasure mounts. We are low-key, no barn politics, quiet and in a magical, peaceful setting. We also take apprentices. Our lesson fees start at $47.50 if you purchase a 10-lesson package, or $60 for a single private session with your horse of mine. Our board is $495/ month unless you have a big eater or your horse requires something special that requires more time. That board would be $520. De-worming is included with your board. This is a VERY NICE CHOCOLATE ROCKY MOUNTAIN GELDING that is well broke to ride. He is a seasoned trail mount that will go wherever he is asked to go. He will ride out alone bravely and also rides in large groups with no fuss. He has been hauled to the horse shows and shown in the gaited classes.

Hershey is a beautiful 14 hand chocolate gelding that’s 5 years old and very laid back! He’s gentle enough for Novice riders young and older! He loves attention, easy to catch and gets along great with other horses.

Talk about a real stunning horse… Hershey Kiss is a 15.1hh, 11 yr old, Chocolate Gelding with a flax mane and tail! Hershey has been my personal trail horse for just under 2 years now.

Offered for your consideration is Jade. A gorgeous Chocolate Rocky Mountain Trail gelding, that anyone would enjoy. Jade is super sweet, and very stylish looking, with his beautiful chocolate color and blond tail/mane. He has a beautiful head, kind eyes. Great handle.

Tucky Boy is an awesome trail horse. He is easy going, quiet and mannerly. Will ride alone or with a group. He stands well for the farrier, loads and unloads in the trailer. Tucky Boy has a stout build and stands at 14.3 hands. If you have any riding experience you can most likely ride Tucky Boy.
