To the naked eye, it’s just an enclosed trailer. But to me, it was so much more. This trailer brought me so much love, joy, and—let’s be honest—plenty of headaches! This trailer gave me a purpose, connected me with a whole community of unforgettable pups and their families, and allowed me to provide a wonderful life, not for only myself but also for my family. It didn't quite make it to 10 years, but it did its job beautifully. I am so incredibly grateful for the crazy, joyful, hardworking chapters we shared inside these walls.

Im soo great full for the awesome grooming community in my life. Jessica Skaj with Curbside Clips - Mobile Grooming and Pet Spa is lending me her old grooming trailer until my new one is done 🤞by fall! She is truly a life saver!!!

This Saturday (April 18), Tri-County Humane Society is taking part in our second Shelter Slumber Pawty , a virtual after-hours event in which our advocates will raise money for homeless animals. We hope you'll follow our progress that evening on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.

We're going to introduce you to our fundraising advocates this week. First up, Raylene Johnson!

Raylene participated last year; here she is pictured with one of her favorite friends that night. We're so happy to have her back! Raylene is a longtime TCHS volunteer and supporter, and she's a professional dog groomer and owner of Wags on Wheels Mobile Dog Grooming-Minnesota.

"After having such a blast at last year's Shelter Slumber Pawty, saying 'YES' to doing it again was the easiest decision I've made all year! I am so passionate about supporting Tri-County Humane Society because, simply put, I love these animals with all my heart. The staff at TCHS is incredibly welcoming and truly appreciates every hand that helps out, which makes volunteering here so rewarding. The Johnson family is fostering this sweet girl and she is ready to find her forever home!

Penny is great with my 2 boys and also my 2 pups. She is a little vocal towards Aaron, (not aggressively) but will cuddle in his lap the next minute. Penny does need a little help with potty training although she's came along way since shes come into our home. She also came to us a little underweight which we are working on.

She is a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved❤️❤️❤️
