Meet my newest client, Bella! She is a senior Shih Tzu.
Senior dog grooms hold a very special place in my heart because they are the main reason I learned. As our family dogs got older and developed chronic health issues, most grooming salons turned them away due to liability risks. It was completely understandable because salons can get hectic and it becomes hard to manage dogs with these issues. That’s why when it comes to grooming seniors, I move at there pace and complete the groom to the best of my ability in whatever way they are most comfortable with. For Bella that was mostly laying down and napping. She may have a few uneven spots here and there, but at the end of the day, I say “Humanity over Sanity.” She went home clean and most importantly HAPPY.
