Sam and Colby have officially found their forever home!!

They went to the sweetest couple who haven’t had a cat in a few years and they are in for such a treat with these two. I just know Sam and Colby are going to fill their home with so much love, laughter, and nonstop purring.

I received these two as 8-week-old kittens. They were friendly enough at first, but I truly had no idea just how special they were going to become. Every single day, they grew more affectionate, more playful, and more full of personality. Before long, they turned into the sweetest little cuddle-bugs, always purring and always wanting to be close.

Sam and Colby (now Sam and Alfred!) have been an absolute joy to foster, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, I am so happy knowing they’ve found such a wonderful home :)

Introducing our Potato litter!
❤️Spud ❤️Russet ❤️Tater

These cuties have been in our care since they were about 3 weeks old, and now at 6 weeks they are doing fantastic! They’ve definitely been one of the more challenging litters I’ve had. They were very vocal and always hungry, had tummy issues and they somehow always managed to get in their wet food and wear it 😂

But they’re finally maturing a bit and becoming much less work (phew!!) No matter what, they are incredibly sweet, cuddly, and completely adorable. I wouldn’t trade them for anything 🙃

Benito found his forever home!

Sweet Benito. He was so scared when he first came to me, but with lots of time, patience, and love he truly blossomed into the bestest boy. Watching his transformation has been a wonderful experience.

Now he’s been adopted by a super sweet young couple who are ready to let him adjust to his new home at his pace. I know he’s in the best hands. Plus… he will have a big brother to spend his days with! He adores other cats. He will be very missed around here. The house feels so different without him!

Meet Bamboo, Bok Choy, and Bean Sprout 💚

These three cuties came to me at just 2½ weeks old, and they are growing into the sweetest, most laid-back little kittens. They absolutely adore being around people and will happily soak up any attention they are given.

They’ll be with me for the next 5 weeks, continuing to grow, play, and soak up love every day (as will I!) It’s been such a delightful journey watching them thrive from tiny babies into these affectionate little companions ❤️

Oh Benito. I haven’t posted much about little Benito. The truth is… it’s because his journey has been a really slow one. He has been in foster care for almost five weeks now, and the last three have been with me. Some kittens bounce back quickly from whatever made them so scared, but others need extra time and extra patience. Benito has been one of those kittens.

But today felt like a big day for him! He was playful and curious, and for the first time he approached me on his own terms. That might sound like a small thing, but with shy kittens those tiny moments mean everything. It means he’s starting to feel safer. It means he’s beginning to trust. I’ve been waiting for that moment. 🥹

If he keeps moving in this direction, we’ll be able to move him to the next stage soon and upgrade his space so he can continue building confidence.

Progress with kittens like Benito doesn’t happen overnight. It’s slow and requires a lot of time and patience. But days like today remind me why patience matters.

He’s getting there one small step at a time. It is very exciting to see!!

Sometimes we are just stepping stones in their story…

Friday night we welcomed these two sweethearts back into the rescue after their adoptive family made the difficult decision to return them, due to no fault of their own. Samson & Delilah were originally fostered by a good friend of mine and when she wasn’t able to take them back (due to having other foster kittens) I offered to take them since I only have little Benito at the moment.

By Sunday, Samson & Delilah were doing so great I brought them to a Loving Care adoption event and it didn’t take long for the magic to happen. The most wonderful young couple walked through the door, each holding a carrier and each others hand. They met the kittens, fell instantly in love, and took them home ❤️ They were exactly what they were looking for!

Hands down, this was the quickest and easiest foster-to-adoption I’ve ever experienced. It is also a beautiful reminder that everything happens just as it should 🥰

I am beyond thrilled things turned out so great for these sweet kittens. It felt incredible to be part of them finding their dream family 🥰
