Happy 4th July! We hope everyone has fun for America's 250th birthday, but don't forget to care for your animals! Fireworks can be scary for pets, so make sure fences and exits are secure in case they escape. Now is also a great time to make sure their microchip information is up to date. If your pet is afraid of the fireworks, create a secure, quiet, safe space for them to retreat to.

Did you know that today is National ID your pet day? Having a collar and nametag with phone number on is important, but even better is a microchip! If your pet escapes, a collar can easily come off, especially if it's not been adjusted correctly. With microchipping, if your pet is found, vets around the country can scan the chip for a speedy return home. But make sure to always make sure the chip information is up to date with your current address and contact number!
