One of my favorite bucks this year, taken by a young lady named Margaret. She is a horse lover like I am, and also can take down a big 198 pound buck like it’s no big deal. She picked out the form and opted to keep his left blind eye all on her own. This buck is an amazing accomplishment for any hunter, but this girl made mounting this buck really super cool! Thank you to her parents for trusting me to mount this amazing buck.

I love mounting deer, but when I get to do one for a close friend or family member it makes it even more enjoyable! This is a nice buck my friend Sonya R harvested this past fall. The ladies truly got it done this year! Thanks for trusting me to preserve your memory.

Just an update for my whitetail deer customers , I received the deer capes back from the tannery last week for deer dropped off in November. I have started mounting them. For some of you that dropped off deer in early November this means you will likely hear from me to let you know I am starting your deer over the next month or so. I am on track to complete these deer early and/or as scheduled with you. This buck is one I mounted over the weekend, it’s roughed in, finish work still to be done.

This is a super nice 198 pound buck just picked up by Tory C., she harvested this beast this past fall. Yay, one for the ladies team! Love his double white throat patch and the symmetry of his antlers. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to preserve this awesome buck! He is such a beast with a swelled 23”-25” neck. Pictures just don’t capture how big some of these bucks truly are.

Had a fantastic time at the New England Taxidermy Show! I received a second place ribbon in the Professional Whitetail Category that im thrilled about. But what really made my weekend was we had the same Judge, Gary Weir, as last year. Gary told me that had there been an award for most improved he would have awarded it to me. I also received comments from my peers noticing the same. I can’t even begin to tell you what that meant. I worked very hard this year to get better, not just for competition, but for my customers. In the end that’s what it’s about for me. I took away some valuable info that I’m looking forward to applying to my customers work over the next year. The blue will come y’all!
