I was able to get a small break from fleshing, allowing me some time to get this beautiful wildebeest roughed in. Thank you Ed for allowing the opportunity to preserve this memory for you, and logan.

I've been getting a crazy amount of spam calls daily. If I don't answer please leave a voicemail, or send a text and I will call you as soon as I can. Blocking the number doesn't help they just call from a different number Everytime.

This is Ruthie, she is a red kangaroo. She was named by the zoo in which she came from. She will be on display in the shop, in hopes to continue educating her species. I encourage everyone to give her a good pet to see how soft she is.
Red kangaroos are the largest living marsupials. Females are much smaller than males. They live in groups that are called mobs.
Every year I try to mount one thing for myself, to be used in competition. I made everything from scratch including the eyes. I learned a lot about the species and tried new techniques to help improve my taxidermy skills. I am excited to have had the opportunity to work on such a unique species. I hope she will be enjoyed by clients and their kids for years to come.

And that's a wrap on the 2023 deer, With this beautiful Iowa buck being the last.
I'm working hard, continuing to try and get caught up. I'm moving on to small mammals, bears, moose, deer and also some African animals. Lots of really neat things coming up, I'll be sure to share pictures of.
Just a reminder if you don't hear from me before deer rifle season, it won't be until after. As this is my busiest time of year with intakes.
Good luck to you all this hunting season

I'm getting very close to finishing up the 2023 deer. I really appreciate everyone's patience. If you are still waiting, it won't be much longer.
I am running out of space, as you can see. Quick pick ups are truly appreciated.

Something different from your standard shoulder mount whitetail.
Pack mounts are becoming more and more popular. A different way to memorialize that hunt.
Frames are completely custom made in house. Here are a few recently finished up.

It's been awhile since I've posted anything. I've been very busy trying to get caught back up. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
With the 2025 hunting season fast approaching, I wanted to share a few updates.
I will be accepting new clients this year. But will be limiting the amount I take in. I will always cater to returning clients.
I will not be accepting any moose, dry tans/ wall hangers, or antler plaques.
I am sorry for any inconvenience. I hope you all have a great hunting season this year and I look forward to seeing you.
Elk just recently finished up for a client

I've had a lot of people messaging me about classes. It's at a great location and Dave Whitney is a great teacher.

Caribou in Velvet just finished up this morning. My first time working on this species. They are such a beautiful animal with incredibly thick soft fur. This caribou was taken on a honeymoon hunt in Alaska.

Life has thrown me some curve balls, and with that I'm currently about 3 months behind schedule. I apologize for the delay. I have been working evenings and weekends to get caught back up. I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.
Moving forward with the 2024 hunting seasons, I will not be accepting any new clients. I didn't make this decision easily. My shop is always open to returning clients. It is because of you I am where I am today, and I look forward to seeing you all again. By doing this I plan to get caught back up to a turn around of 12 months or less. I know most of you are anxious to get your trophy. I will be honoring any reservations that have currently been made. Thank you all for your support. Shoot straight and good luck to you ALL!

This past weekend was the Maine association of Taxidermist annual convention. I decided to whip something together last min. I had come up with the idea months prior. I wanted to combine my boyfriend's art with mine to create something different and unique.
I sacrificed a few Saturdays And had to improvise a lot for materials. For putting it together last min and rushing, I was pleasantly surprised to take second place in the masters division. This was my first year competing in masters. Arno took first place for his chainsaw carving. If you would like to see more of his work visit https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100085187795618&mibextid=ZbWKwL
This year was a pretty special year for me, I got to see my mentor be inducted into the taxidermy hall of fame. Very well deserved. I am so grateful for his friendship and guidance.
The raccoons came from a wildlife rehab and unfortunately didn't make it.
