The services the Humane Society offers to the Rome/Floyd community include information on low cost spay/neuter programs, educational programs, and a pet food pantry for the pets of less fortunate residents of the Rome/Floyd County area. We also, depending on circumstances, do animal rescue on a limited case-by-case basis, as we do not have enough volunteers to foster rescued animals. The RFHS also acts as a community liaison with other rescue groups in the Rome/Floyd County area,In doing so, we are able to assist each other with local rescue efforts & adoption co-ordinations (including out-of-state transport), financial assistance. In the field of animal rescue & adoption, many hands truly do make light work!
