Heyyyyyy YOU!

It’s me, Cheyenne. You know, the one that was found in the middle of the road. Hurt. Unable to move myself out of the road.

An angel put me in her car and got me to floyd felines, and guess what?

A few weeks post rescue and I’m gaining weight, healthy, and I can now stand!!

I hear my recovery still isn’t over but I wanted to say THANK YOU!

For the first time in my life, I know love, a family, and what it feels like to know my life matters.

I think im going to be just fine, YOU made it possible

UPDATE!! Chum Chum went to her new workshop home!!! She and Maddie have been adopted by a very nice family!!

Are you ready to be a HERO???

Chum Chum needs a patient, loving, kind person or family to give her a chance at a wonderful life. We have cats that come to us from rough circumstances. They have never had a loving interaction with a kind person. They have learned to fear people. Often when they are young they can come around. However, this is difficult when they are among another hundred cats at a shelter. They are looking for that special person to take the time to work with them. Some people call these guys, semi or soft Feral.

Chum Chum came to us from a neighboring county's animal control. She was on their euthanasia list because they felt she would never get adopted since she was a scared cat. We believe that all lives matter and took her in. She is now in our adoption room and loves cuddling with other cats.

She has a couple of favorite friends, but she especially loves Spunky Spud. They would make perfect companions in a home and we find sometimes it is easier to work with 2 of these cats than one. She also spent time in a kennel with another kitty, a tortie named Mattie. Either of these would be great options for adopting together.

Chum Chum has been fully vetted - altered, vaccinated, combo tested and micro-chipped. Because she will have to be “worked with”, we are offering her at a reduced adoption fee of $75 to cover a portion of the vetting. She needs to be kept inside and acclimated. Once familiar with their family and territory, she may be able to become an indoor/outdoor cat. But remember, they haven’t been outside since they were tiny, so take that into consideration.
