🎃👻 Happy Halloween from Rogers Pet Clinic! 👻🎃

Halloween can be a lot of fun for us—but it can be pretty confusing for our pets.

A few reminders before the trick-or-treaters arrive:

🍫 Keep chocolate and candy safely out of reach.
🎃 Don't let pets snack on pumpkins or decorations.
🕯️ Keep candles and open flames away from curious noses and wagging tails.
🚪 Watch the door—especially if your pet is a runner!
🐱 Give cats and nervous dogs a quiet place to retreat from the activity.
👻 And remember: costumes are optional! If your pet hates wearing one, they don't need to participate. 😂

Black cats have gotten a pretty unfair reputation over the years.

But anyone who has lived with one knows the truth:

They can be cuddly.

They can be sweet.
They can absolutely run your household.

And they deserve the same love, care, and chance at a forever home as every other cat.

Found Dog!

This dog was brought into the clinic just now but found earlier this morning. Neutered male. Found on 123rd and Main here in Rogers. No microchip but has an electronic collar. Please call the clinic if you know him! 763-428-8688. (We are not keeping him here but can put you through to his current holder)

🐾 October is National Animal Safety & Protection Month!

Fall brings cooler weather, changing routines, Halloween decorations, and plenty of opportunities for pets to get themselves into trouble. 😂

A few quick reminders:

🎃 Keep candy—especially chocolate—out of reach.
🕯️ Keep candles and decorations where curious noses can't reach them.
🐶 Make sure pets have secure identification in case they slip out.
🐱 Give cats a safe, quiet place away from Halloween visitors.
🍂 Be mindful of mushrooms, plants, and other things pets may find interesting outside.

Our pets are experts at finding the one thing they shouldn't be eating. 😅

When in doubt, give us a call. We'd much rather help you figure out whether something is a concern than have you worry alone!

🐶 October is also Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month! 🐶

There are so many wonderful dogs waiting for their forever families—and sometimes the best addition to your family is the one who has been waiting the longest. ❤️

Shelter dogs come in all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Puppies are adorable, but don't overlook the adult and senior dogs who have just as much love to give!

If you're thinking about adding a dog to your family, consider checking out your local shelter or rescue. You just might meet your new best friend. 🐾
