Never underestimate Biscuit! 💥

A little broken fence isn't going to stop this girl when she decides it’s time to help Windy with dinner. Full of s***k, determination, and zero regrets—she even gave us a stomp and a little kick threat for good measure! 🐴🌾

Last night, a family of our Equine community and a supporter of CFER, lost 2 of their horses in a tragic accident. If you know them or seen them around, you know that they are an amazing Mother-daughter duo. They do many community events and over 1000 children and families have been blessed with their presence. A go fund me has been set up to help with expenses. Not only were they their 4 legged family member, they were part of their family business Port City Minis. Please donate if you can, if not please share and Say some special prayers for them as they navigate thru the storm.

Jewell Horton has established the go fund me and will be providing updates.

Current status: Official MacGyver in training.💡 Give me some bungee cords and five minutes, and I’ll have the paddock secure and ready to go. You’ve got to adapt on the fly out here! 🐴🌾

Gator is out here striking a pose and rocking his new halter, but there’s a big mystery at the rescue.. who actually managed to get it on him? 🤔🐴

Drop your guesses in the comments below! 👇 Was it:
A) A brave soul with a handful of treats 🥕
B) A secret horse whisperer 🧙‍♂️
C) Pure, unadulterated luck 🍀
D) He put it on himself just to flex for the camera 📸
Let’s hear your best theories! 👇😂

☕ Welcome to the Boarders Coffee Corner! 🐎

Did you know that running a rescue and takes more than just love? It takes a community! 🌾✨

Our amazing boarders are a vital part of our family. The board fees paid by their owners directly help cover key operational costs—from nutrient-rich feed and hay to electricity, water, pasture maintenance, and daily care for the herd.

When boarders join our rescue they don’t just get a home for their horses—they help keep our whole sanctuary running smoothly so we can continue caring for all our rescue animals! 🐴❤️
💭 Did You Know?
Boarding programs in rescues offer a win-win partnership: horse owners get quality care in a tranquil environment, while the rescue gains consistent support to help offset essential monthly expenses!
A huge thank you to our boarders and their humans for being such an important part of our mission! 🙌✨

Testing out the new hay bag setup for Biscuit to cut down on waste… but Miss Windy is already on clean-up patrol, waiting on any accidental strays! 🌾😂

If you know, you know! Draining water troughs used to take forever, but this drill pump makes quick work of it. I have been using it a few months now and I can't say enough about it. Highly recommend! 🌾🛢️
