We know. Those eyes are convincing. 😂

But Halloween candy isn't a treat your pet should share.

Chocolate and other ingredients found in candy can be harmful to pets, and wrappers can create additional problems if swallowed.

Keep the candy bowl somewhere your pet can't reach, and remind little trick-or-treaters that sharing their stash with the family dog or cat isn't a good idea.

If your pet does get into something they shouldn't, don't wait to see what happens. Contact your veterinarian or a pet poison control resource for guidance.

Sudden changes in behavior, appetite, energy or mobility can sometimes signal an underlying problem.
